The Club at Emerald Hills

Tee boxes were being repaired but the temp tees were still great. Tough greens. Great fairways.

Course and pace of play were fine. However, no one mentioned that there were temporary tees on every hole. And what’s even worse was they didn’t even cut the temp tee area. So you were teeing off in 3 in rough on every hole. Terrible. It would have been the right thing to do to 1) mention this before starting the round and 2) cut the temp areas.

Played an afternoon round with a foursome. Terrific and friendly staffers.

Would have ideally liked to have known before hand that all of the tee boxes were under renovation - and the temporary tee boxes were in uneven and tall grass. Really impacted our drives. There were also areas of some of the fairways that needed attention - and some of the greens were a little rough.

First time at this course. Lots of long holes, water and bunkers. Fast and challenging greens. All good things.

Although $67 is not a terrible price for an afternoon round during the week, paying more than double that amount in the morning is not a good value.

Will go back again, but will call first before booking to see if the tee box renovations have been completed.

Emerald hills is always a challenging course,great round and paired up with a friendly guy from Venezuela.

First time Canadian playing this course. Upon arrival great gentleman assisted with clubs and instructions. Practice facilities were average at best. Range balls were terrible along with tee area. Putting green looked like it was spray painted green which left paint all over your ball. As for the course itself, I've played a lot nicer courses for $100 (130 exchange) in Canada. Tee boxes were terrible. Fairways were okay. Greens were good and challenging but towards end of course more ball mark divots becoming an issue. Water everywhere and those poor houses along the course on miss hits!!! Gave it a 3 overall because for the price I expect more.

Pace of play was horrible

Waited on 17 of 18 holes

Saw a ranger only on the 18th hole in a 4:49 round of golf

Grass on tee boxes was long or non - existent

Greens were very good
