The Club at Emerald Hills

This course is challenging. I'm a 7 handicapper and I'm playing way over my handicap. Greens are undulating, water everywhere, windy, and it's a very long course. Bring extra golf balls.

Dining closes early so don't expect to eat dinner there.

As much as I hate to echo many reviews I've read about slow play....5 hour rounds are too much! Granted, the course is very long and the only forward (shorter) tee options for men put them right on top of the ladies tees (which they won't do). Next tee back is over 6000 and a lot of carry shots off tees. We were joined by two men and it was a continual hunt for their balls. The course is in very good shape....the greens are fast but fun! We were very disappointed that the driving range wasn't open. There should be some sort of discount when this happens because one seems to spend the first several holes just trying to warm up....and the golf suffers. Not fun.

4 hours and only got 14 holes in before dark due to pace of play.

A challenging but fair course that is in pretty good shape. My wife and I were paired with two very good players who were very friendly. We played at 2:06 and thought we had a shot. at 18 but only played 15 as we had a very slow group ahead of us. Will play earlier next time. Staff very helpful but should have moved the players ahead of us.

The staff are friendly and attentive. The is in decent condition, the greens role true and are fast. Some of the fairways need some attention, however it’s more about golfers not not filling their divots.

The tee boxes on the back are getting repaired and should fill in nicely once the weather becomes optimum for growing grass.

The course layout is challenging and although O usually play from around 6100 yds, I would move up to the next forward tee the next time playing it.

I will play it again.

Very challenging course. But lack of investment has made the overpriced. Luck of investment is affecting its value.

Great course layout, I used every club in my bag because of the verity of holes. There is a tee deck for most player levels. This is not a course for a new golfer and don't be a hero and play from decks that are too long, you will pay for it.

Friendly pro shop, back shop and bistro staff. This is a must play in Fort Lauderdale.

Always enjoy playing at EH, very nice course overall. Pace of play was pretty slow, 5h for a foursome. But.. it was a saturday…. It was packed! Next time, I will book a weekday T-time.

Overbooked and so slow that I did not even finish the whole round. I probably will not go back there again.

What a mess! The Starter had no clue what she was doing. I had a reserved tee time but she wouldn’t let me go a single. Totally clueless!!!

From what I was told there is 100 million dollar renovation coming soon

150 bucks for a round but the course needs some love and I understand why it is not getting it
