The Club at Emerald Hills

Place was a swamp with branches everywhere. Greens were 50% sand. Pace a play was a joke. Had to wait 5min between swings

Overall this course was in decent condition and was good value. The greens were fairly quick but we’re a little rough. Could be the time of year and part of maintenance but they weren’t terrible.

I would play there again.

Emerald hills missed the basic fundamentals in golf course mtce. Tee blocks haven’t been cut in days and greens were the worst I’ve ever played on. I don’t think the course owns a whipper snippet as nothing was trimmed over growth everywhere. Fairways were terrible and uncut. Other course cut grass everyday, looks like Emerald hills hasn’t in weeks. No nice flower beds or anything groomed to make the course beautiful. Buildings and shacks were in terrible disrepair. This course needs a lot of investment, new management and a new greens superintendents.

When you fly in from out of town and want to get in a couple rounds. You would hope they would be honest about the conditions of the course.

Seems like it could be a great course, but; the greens where not mowed for a week, tee boxes where like hitting out of the rough, and the sand traps where not raked and look like a herd of animals had gone through them. I normally do not complain but they charged me $80 total and not one mentioned the conditions.

Always have a good time playing here. Although the course is challenging it is also a very interesting layout for the area. Course still coming around after recent maintenance and a big storm, but all in all good shape. Staff was exceptional as always. Will be back!

I was so disappointed! I called the pro shop prior to making a reservation about the course conditions. I asked the lady if the greens were punched recently. She told me that they haven't done anything since August. She said everything is fine and there is no complaints whatsoever. In reality, the greens have plenty of holes from a recent aerification ( punched about 2 weeks ago). Some fairways were also punched. The greens are so bumpy and slow. In addition to the holes and sands on the greens, the grass is long due to no mowing. Also, the fairway grass does not get mowed either. I specifically asked about the greens and she actually lied to me. How can you run a business by lying to your clients? I understand that the course needs maintenance, especially during the summer. Can't you guys be honest about the course conditions? This is very bad management and very short-sighted.

The staff is incredible, warm, and beyond friendly. Course was wet but is a great layout.

It’s a pretty nice facility, however the day we went they had just aerated the greens and didn’t tell anyone. The course was also golf cart path only which made for a long and strenuous day. This is definitely a challenging course, but having to walk after every hit and then putting on an impossible green really ruined The experience for everyone. Not worth any higher than $40 for a teetime compared to the other options in the area.

A very hard and long course. Greens still had aeration punch marks from aeration done over a month ago so ball didn’t roll well. Some tee boxes were in rough shape. Other than that this course is an affordable challenge for anyone, well worth the $30-$40 deal you can get on GolfNow some days.

Nice course, rain was forecast but luckily only got a few sprinkles. Thunder storms in the distance.

Pace was extremely slow initially as we were only 2 behind a slow 4 ball. But after they called us through on the 7/8th we were much quicker.

The tee boxes were very rough, not mowed, especially on ladies tee boxes. Some of the fairways were very lumpy but overall course was very playable. WE enjoyed our round.

Great service at the pro shop and bar. Received a booklet describing the holes and layout.

Bartender Jule’s very professional and courteous.

Rained during the last 9 holes but still an enjoyable round.
