The Club at Emerald Hills

Clubhouse staff was very accommodating. Full foursome needed rentals, staff had everything ready. From Hollywood Beach it was 15min away. Plenty of water to navigate, so bring enough extra balls. Cart girl was readily available and very friendly. Can't wait to play again

Course layout, ambiance and challenge are excellent. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers should be in much better shape for this level course design. Pace of play should be managed better. After good paced front nines, somehow this place comes to a screeching halt as you advance each hole of the back nine. Rangers are out there but doesn’t appear they’re saying anything; Pro shop and starter staff are excellent.

Great layout but poor conditions. Greens are slower and most of them are in good shape, tee boxes and fairways need some work attention, could be a great course. Pace of play was slow at over 4 hours. Probably an ok value for the area and because of the layout I would play here again but feel like it could be better condition for the price, (our should be a little cheaper) the layout is interesting enough that it could demand a lot more $ if the conditions matched.

Emerald Hills turned out to be a pretty challenging course. It was a bit windy too which made it that much more difficult to hold the green on the approach shots.

This is the second time playing this course. We’re from Texas and played here a few years ago. Came back into town and had to play it again. The staff were super friendly, just like last time. We will continue to come here anytime we come into town. Little backed up but we linked with a group that made it fun.

The course was overbooked, and pace was agonizingly slow.

Very challenging course with uneven tee boxes consisting of dirt, weeds and grass. The fairways are grass and weeds. This does not offer a fair playing field for this tough very intelligent layout. Seems like a contradiction. Locker rooms run down and not clean. Pace of play on the back nine had to be over 2.5 hours.Ranger drives out to check on the pace but usually accomplish nothing.

The staff is very friendly, especially the waiter at the restaurant. You get free water bottles, as many as you like with tons of ice, which is excellent. The course layout is interesting and somewhat challenging, though the conditions, such as greens, tee boxes and fairways not in perfect condition. The price of $100 is too high compared to some other courses with similiar layouts and conditions, such as Grand Palms and Flamingo Lakes (half the price).

Unfortunately was quite busy and the pace was bit slower.

I wish to walk instead of golfing with a cart, but they do not allow for walking. Too bad but the course is excellent.

Layout is nice. Staff is great. Pace of play is simply unacceptable. Course conditions on the front 9 were worse than most municipal courses with patchy and inconsistent greens. Overgrown grass in tee box areas. Back 9 was better but certainly not great. Overall a solid 3 star experience. If you’re just looking for golf, this will check the box. If you want something nicer, this is not the course.
