Great staff
Everything was great. Only issue tee boxes were rough on several holes. Staff was terrific.
Just okay
I found the pro shop staff not very friendly. The back shop staff were terrific and the gentleman working the bar was good too. We saw the cart person twice during our round. Once on the 9th fairway and second time we were on the 18th green…… Overall okay for March golf but for 99.00 I don’t think it was worth that price.
Great layout, very friendly staff
Took a chance on this after reading some reviews that weren’t favorable. In my opinion, this course is great. They haven’t had much rain in the area, but the course was in very good shape. I was a single, and was teamed up with two members, They were gracious hosts. From pulling into the parking lot, getting picked up at the car and brought to the starter, it was great from the get go. Great starter, and lunch service. Course was fair and fun, I am a 9 handicap and played from the white tees. It fit my game. Another person played from the gold tees, and shouldn’t have. Pick a tee that fits your game! No need to play the golds if you hit your drive 200 yards! I would highly recommend this course.
Nice Course
Very interesting design. It is a subdivision course, but the design of the holes makes it great. Some elevated greens(in really good shape for the money). It is difficult to- 137!slope from "member" tees, 131 from the white tees. A good challenge with a friendly staff.
Not Great Value
The person that greeted us was the best part of the day.
Paid for 18 played 9 the course was that bad.
The proshop attendent was not in a great mood.
The tee decks were variying lengths of grass. Some of the markers were not in pace. Most were riddled with sand.
The fairways were adequate not great and the greens had pitts and scaring and were slow and inconsistent.
The best part was the 6th hole where the cart person yelled as I was putting for birdie "ARE YOU GUYS GOOD", "HEY YOU GUYS GOOD" and it ended with the person we played with telling us the course has gone down hill ever since they learned it was going to be revamped next year. Since then they just don't care about the quality.
Not worth the money at all. And still 2.5 hours to play 9 holes. I wish this had come with a warning. My fault for not reading recent reviews.
muy linda cancha, descuidada
la cancha es muy linda pero está un poco descuidada, más que nada los greens que están en muy mal estado en su mayoría
Most overpriced course in South Florida
We paid $150 each to play this course on a Sunday morning, and the conditions on the front 9 were downright shocking. My group couldn’t stop laughing at how badly we overpaid, considering nearly every other course in Miami—both at this price point and even lower—is in far better shape.
Many greens were surrounded by areas marked as ground under repair, and putting on the front 9 felt like a joke—patches of mismatched grass, sand, bumps, and weeds made it nearly unplayable (again, for $150). Tee boxes ranged from sandpits to overgrown messes. While the back 9 was in decent shape, the front was so poor that it completely overshadowed any positives.
I rarely write negative reviews, but the price compared to the course conditions was insulting. As a 9-handicap golfer who plays often, this was one of the worst values I’ve encountered.
To top it off, I tried to use my GolfNow Premier card for a 10% discount (which is still valid until next month), and they refused to honor it. Save your money and play somewhere else until they fix it up or lower the price.
Save your Money
First I give a shout out to the gentleman who greeted us. It was the best part of the experience.
The pro shop staff member was clearly not happy with her job, the day or working in general.
The $240 for two people was way way overpriced for the condition of the course.
The tee decks various lengths of grass, sand divots and tee markers were all over the place.
The fairways were okay but divots were not fixed and the greens slow and in terrible condition.
The person we played with was a regular and said since it was being redesigned next year they don’t care about taking care of it. Well there should be a warning with this booking. I paid for 18 played 9 it was that bad.
I don’t understand how ratings can be above 3 for this course.
Oh and the best part was my birdie putt on 6 while the cart girl was yelling “ARE YOU GUYS GOOD” “ARE YOU GOOD?”
Save your Money
The best part of the course was the one cart staff member that greeted us. He was polite and courteous and it all went down from there. The lady working the pro shop seemed like she was not a fan of working today. Two players $240. No golf balls to warm up with. Needed to pay for those. The tee decks were a mess of long and short grass and sand. Finding a decent place to tee up was a challenge. The greens slow and most had pitting or damage. Fairways were okay. But this course while a decent layout was in terrible condition for the money.
Heard from the gentleman we played with. The course is going to be closed and renovated next year and because of that they have stopped taking care of it.
It’s too bad this course was an option to play as the GN pics made it seem like a decent course and the price certainly made it seem like it would be good.
Honestly was the worst course I have played using the GN app. And so bad only played 9 which took 2.5 hours to play as it was.
Course conditions
Tee boxes poor. No grass on tees. Very sandy. Greens adequate. Fairways adequate
Pricey for the conditions
I thought this course was way overpriced as we paid over $400 for 2 people. Not sure if we got ripped off but we reserved on GolfNow a couple weeks out and that was what I was charged plus taxes. It looks like the prices went down as you got closer to the date. The front nine was in pretty bad shape. Parts of the greens and most of the tees were dirt. The back nine was a different story. It was in pretty good shape and seemed way better maintained. There was even garbage laying around the ponds on the front nine but that wasn’t seen on the back. Young man who checked us in at the pro shop was extremely friendly. Ranger seemed like we were bothering him. Pace of play was pretty good…waited on a few shots but not too many. Probably wouldn’t go back unless price was reduced or front nine renovated.
