Southeast Florida golf as it should be
My wife and I played early on a Tuesday morning (we're retired) and had a wonderful experience at this course. We had not played here in about three years and found the course and facilities as good as ever. The course is one of the best in our area. It has an interesting layout with varying length holes each with their own individual challenges. Non of the par threes were the same. The greens are in very nice shape, in spite of getting lots of play as are the fairways and tee boxes. There are not a lot of water hazards but plenty of trees and bunkers. One bunker had a somewhat muddy wet bottom area but otherwise they were playable. Try it, you'll like it.
Oaks, Palms & Cypress
We were scheduled to play Cypress but starter Terry was able to send us off Oaks. Course was nice but I feel is overrated in relation to Palms & Cypress. I would rate Cypress the best and Oaks & Palms just a shade below. With The Palms being more fun to play. Will be back definitely best value for your buck.
Just ok
I played the Cypress Course. It's a fairly interesting layout, but the course has seen better days. The greens were in good condition, but the tee boxes and fairways were average to poor. Lots of bare spots. It just feels like a course where minimal money is spent on conditioning.
Great Day for Golf
Registered as a single and hooked up with another pairing.....overall course was in good condition, weather was great, pace was perfect, had a good time
This course has great features

Great Course, Great Deal
For $32 on GolfNow, this was a great deal. Course is reasonably challenging, but probably not as difficult as the Palms which has more water. Challenging part of this course is that some of the fairways are relatively narrow. Course is in the best shape of any course I've played in South Florida during winter of 2015.
Very value for your money
The course is in excellent condition, the starter Joe is very friendly. I would recommend this course.
Rough
This course is in very rough shape and is very overplayed. Ned's some TLC. The greens are slow the fairways and tee boxes are overgrown. Wouldn't go back.
What More Could You Ask For?
All aspects of the experience were Good to Very Good. The personnel I encountered were friendly and helpful. The fairways, greens, traps and even the roughs were in very good shape; only a couple of shaggy tee boxes. We saw the beverage cart at least 3 times. I paid about $50 for a post-2 PM tee time, which I found very reasonable. So as the title of this review says. . .
Nice experience
Played with a friend and paired up with 2 nice guys from PA there for the winter. Greens in really nice shape and true to putt. Fairways in good shape overall considering time of year but teeboxes were a bit below average in instances. Group ahead of us was slow, took us about 4:20 to play so not bad. Played at 9:40am. Course offers a challenge, we played from the Green (2nd longest) at around 6500. At $55 including cart we thought it was a good deal. I play a lot of golf and was satisfied with the course. Greens are almost all elevated so need to hit an extra club. Some wind made holes a lot longer. Staff was super helpful as we needed to print tickets and have bags picked up.
High End Course, Low End Service
How difficult is it for the course to put a scorecard and pencil on the golf cart? This is what a course which charges premium rates should do. Obviously, they didn't. It's also hard to believe that an upscale course such as this does not provide drinking water on the course. It would also be nice to see a beverage cart more than one time over a four-hour round, especially on a very hot day.
The course itself is in very good shape. It doesn't really play that difficult, especially when compared to The Palms course which seems to be a bit more challenging.
Palm Aire Cypress Review
Course was in good shape. Pace of play was excellent for 9AM start. Done right at 4 hours & 15 minutes. Water on many holes but seldom came into direct play.
Pour une personne qui va joue pour la première fois il manque d'indication sur le terrain
Dans l'ensemble c'est correct petit bémol pour le meme prix nous avons joué des terrains plus entretenu .
FEB 15 AT THE OAKS
HAD A GREAT TIME. PLAYED WITH TWO VERY NICE GUYS FROM MICHIGAN. THE COURSE WAS WELL KEPT AND THE PLAY WAS AT A VERY GOOD PACE.
Windy
Played on a day that was extremely windy- to biases my opinion. Course was in ok shape. Lots of water + wind made for lots of penalties. Not particuly fond of courses bordered by condos. Was pretty inexpensive and the staff was dynamite.
A este Campo le falta mantenimiento
Cantidad de jugadores en exceso de las posibilidades de la cancha
Tees en pésimo estados
Búnkers sin alisar
Fairwsy con cantidad de divot
Gérmenes cortados en distintas alturas
Great Course!
Played The Palms course. Had 7:22 tee time. Really enjoyed the course from the greens to the fairways and even bunkers were in good shape. Pace was great as it should be at 7:22am. Greens were in great shape. They looked much less beat up than most other courses this time of year. Playing again in a couple days.
Good conditions - slow play
The course was in very good conditions, but the pace of play was very slow. We waited on every single hole and never saw a ranger.
No control by starter and no rangers on the course
I have played this course many times but, over the years, it has become more crowded. Waiting between shots is commonplace. The situation is exacerbated
when the starter slips in a few groups that do not have tee times.
Plus there is no supervision on the courses at all.
Great course but management is opting for revenue at the expense of the playing experience.
On a positive note, management did refund our fees in full with no questions asked.
Dissapointed
The staff was not at all friendly or even polite. The course was only Slightly better than 'fair' condition and the pace of play was so bad we called it quits after 7 holes. There were no water stations on course, we never saw a Beverage cart and the drink machine took my $2 but wouldn't give me anything.
