The Oak Bridge Club (formerly known as Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass) in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., sits adjacent to the famed Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The 6,413-yard, par-70 Arnold Palmer design features water on every hole, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Oak Bridge favors accuracy and strategy over power and distance. New owners have upgraded the clubhouse and introduced a new restaurant, The 3 Palms Grille. A tennis center is home to 10 Har-Tru clay courts.

Bad conditions, course needs maintenance
Played this track and the course is in very poor condition. The greens have a disease and there are not coming back! Cart pathss broken, grass not being routinely cut,etc....overall they need some help.
dead greens
every green was a dead wasteland, would have been better if they made temp greens out of the fairways.
Conditions terrible
Greens were all dead/brown dirt. sandtraps were hard as rocks. fairways were patchy.
Where's the Green?
Very poor condition! The parking lot was in better condition then 16 of 18 greens. Was excited to get a great deal, now realize why, course is in trouble!
These greens were dead and bare.
Apparently their greens were burnt out last Sept. and were unplayable for our visit. We have played this course annually over the last dozen years and looked forward to it. As a user of Golf Now, I expect better.
terrible
Course is in terrible condition. You can't call a green a green when it lacks grass. They have completely let this course go and it wasn't worth the $26.50 I paid to play. So many better choices in Jacksonville.
Excellent welcoming staff
I enjoyed playing this course. The starter was welcoming and offered an opportunity to join or play with another pair. I was pleased with the pace of play, allowed me to play thru when there was a delay. The greens were in need of work but the grounds were in good shape and the weather was perfect. I would like to play this course again. I liked the many 3 par holes although at times challenging it was a great shot maker course.
Very bad experience at any price.
Greens were horrible; completely destroyed by bugs. Complete waste of money. Playing time was slow and very frustrating. I won't go back.
Needs some TLC
Great course layout. Very fun to play. Lots of water. Tee boxes were in good shape for the most part. Fairways and roughs were fine. Lots of bunkers protecting the greens. The greens, however, were really in poor shape. I hope they improve in the warm weather.
would not recommend at this time
nice layout for the course but but the rough was poorly maintained and the about 3/4 of all greens were most sparse grass or bare dirt. Very little sand in the traps - it was like hitting off hard dirt. The greens need a lot of work. very disappointing
Worst course with public access in NE FL
I've played this course many times and live just across the street. It is deteriorating every time I play. Greens are almost non-existent in some cases. It's a great layout and could be one of the top courses around but it's clear ownership is just trying to hang on. Awful and a shame!
Horrible upkeep
The course has a nice layout, but greens and sand traps were horrible. Several greenside traps with no rakes. Greens were 50% barren. Knee high weeds in some spots. Will not be returning.
Poor greens
Most greens were bad with some barely playable. Had to use a two put rule. The greens were bare and damaged.
Greens are in the worst possible condition
I wish I could write a good review for this course as it is the closest to my home. But I just can't.
.I golfed here sometime in November and some of the greens had bare spots and were not in the best of shape. I had golfed here on and off during the summer and early fall and conditions were ok. But after the November outing I thought I would wait a while to go back hoping the greens would improve. Wrong. From the 1st to the 17th green nothing like I had ever seen before. Basically dirt with very low cut weed clumps and curled up dry patches almost desert like turf in spots. I mean really bad. Each hole was the same. Tee boxes good, fairways as well but then you get to the greens, or should I say browns. You can see the brown " greens" as you come up the fairway and you know right away that it will be almost impossible to putt anything outside a foot or so. Probably similar to the surface of the moon. The only hole with real grass is the 18th. I suspect it is taken care of as it is the only hole that can be seen from the rode coming in. From that fairway you see the green green and almost have to laugh at that point. You are glad it's green but you are also happy that this round is coming to an end.
Like I said I wish this course was in better condition as I would make it my go to course. But it is the worst i have ever seen anywhere. The good news if there is any is that the greens can not get much worse and with just a little care can be much better. I hope they start putting money back into this place as it is ideally located and could be a very nice course someday again.
Poor shape should not be open
all but two greens dead it should not be open until it comes back in, It is worst course I have played in Florida to date
Sawgrass CC, get what you pay for
$29 rate, in peak season… weeds everywhere and greens may have been the worst I have ever seen. Fairways in pretty good shape… The coarse had been under heavy rain but they are having major issues… Really a bummer…
Bad surprise.
I have played the course before and enjoyed it. Unfortunately every green is in really bad shape. The price should be severely discounted until repaired.
Great layout no grass on greens
This course needs some good weather and TLC. It has a great layout very challenging but greens are lacking any grass.
This Course Should Close Immediately
This course was in terrible condition, only two greens (9th & 18th) were is decent conditions, there were craters on the green, the fairways drained horribly, and the staff was rude. This was my first time playing and more than likely my last, this course needs to close for a while and do an entire renovation from the staff to the course.
Not recommended
The started and the beverage cart girl were super friendly and helpful. Our cart battery was sluggish and would not move on the grass at all. We called the clubhouse on the 15th tee box, they said they would bring new car. We limped along to #18 when they came with a new cart, which was useless by then. Greens were terrible, more sand than grass. Bunkers desperately need sand, they were more like concrete lies. Very disappointing time. There are so many goose droppings on this course, you have to watch where you step or lay down your clubs. It's a shame that this is tagged to Sawgrass property.
