The Oak Bridge Club (formerly known as Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass) in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., sits adjacent to the famed Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The 6,413-yard, par-70 Arnold Palmer design features water on every hole, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Oak Bridge favors accuracy and strategy over power and distance. New owners have upgraded the clubhouse and introduced a new restaurant, The 3 Palms Grille. A tennis center is home to 10 Har-Tru clay courts.

Good value for the money.
This is the second time I have played the course. It is challenging for me because of the amount of water. I lost 3 balls. The greens were not in good shape which was unusual because there has been plenty of rain. Also, I suggest they put pictures of the holes either on the card or at the tee boxes. Many times you were hitting a long shot and didn't know there was water in front of the green. Other than that, I recommend it.
Course was in very poor shape
Long waits, poor condition ... makes for a long and unenjoyable day.
Down Hill!
I have always liked this course, but wow has it gone down hill. I played here a year ago and it was in terrible shape. I figured I gave them a year to get back on track, but no luck...still in terrible condition. Too bad because the course has a ton of potential. Greens are in bad shape and the bunkers are completely gone ( not enough sand and grass growing in them.) Not worth the money I spent.
This can e a fun course.
It was a nearly raining type day so not crowded. Greens need some work, but at least the crew was working on them. Another 30 days. Really a great day all in all. Just didn't play well.
Nice layout but poor maintenance
The greens are in poor condition and need immediate attention. Weeds and areas of dead grass were present. There is a lot of wet areas due to the recent heavy rains. Nice layout and could be great if it recieves some care.
nice layout
I like the layout but course is not well maintained, greens and sand traps are not in good shape. Traps have grass in them and are not raked. Greens are about 40% dead and bumpy.
Disaster Course
Unbelievable that anyone wants to pay to play here. Worst conditions by far for any course in the entire area. Greens are destroyed and beyond repair. Well beyond the large patches they are currently replacing on the bear ground. Fairways have quack grass everywhere. Bunkers are raw dirt and weed encroached. Goose droppings everywhere including greens. Owners are running on a shoe string budget. Greenskeeper told me they are understaffed and down to one mowing machine. A shame this course, right next to TPC, could not be taken over by them, they would soon have it in ship shape again.
Greens in very poor conditon with bare patches and patched pieces of sod.
This coarse is an embarrassment to the Sawgrass community in its current condition.
This course exhibits extreme deferred maintenance.
Geese in every other fairway. Fairways not mowed. Bunkers not maintained and need sand. Restrooms on course show EXTREME deferred maintenance. Do not waste your time and money booking a tee time on this course.
Greens need some work
Fairways were okay. Greens had sand, patches of grass. Made putting very difficult. But it's close to home so we play it.
Nice Layout but needs TLC
Great course layout. Staff was super friendly. Food was great. The greens were in rough shape and several were heavily sanded and pock marked. Clover and weeds in and out of the fairways. Sand trap boundaries have collapsed on a number of holes but sand was playable. Cart paths and signage all good. Cart service was excellent and often, great for the hot days.
For the average player a good value for the money but course needs TLC.
Has all the potential to be a great course, but is severely lacking in resources!
This course is declining rapidly. The greens, sand traps, and roughs are Horendous! I have played municipal courses that offered a better quality of play. I fear this once beautiful course is suffering some form of financial woes that is killing many other courses. Not worth the $ even if you are only paying $40.00. The greens should be closed until they can be rehabbed, and the traps need to be gutted and redone. Not the quality you would expect from a course in Sawgrass!
Greens not good
greens were the worst I have played in a while. I expected a lot more out of a course located in the Sawgrass community.
MAY BE GREAT IN THE FALL
Greens so bad it may take 4 to 6 months to recover. GPS or yardage book are absolutely necessary(no mention of either from the staff). Way too many blind hazzards;believe this was the reason for such a long round.
Help!
I expected much better conditions, especially of the greens. When you include "Sawgrass" and "Ponte Vedra" in your name, expectations are much higher than what this course offers.
The greens are in bad shape.
The greens are in bad shape. There are spots with no grass in multiple locations. Course needs attention.
In Transition
I love this lay out the course it self is OK not pristine and manicured but very playable. The bunker need some work but that was probably do to the tropical storm that came through a couple days ago. The greens are coming back from being punched so they are slow and a little bumpy.
This course needs some attention!
The staff, from the cart guy to the head pro was very cordial. The course on the other hand left much to be desired. There were two major points of contention: 1) the greens are in very bad shape; many bare spots on almost every green and they were very hairy and slow. 2) Geese...they are taking over the course. It is difficult to take a step on the course without stepping in goose feces. 16 green was covered with it. While I enjoyed the layout, I cannot in good conscious recommend this course at this time.
It's a great track
The fairways are in excellent condition as are most of the teeing areas. Some of the greens need a bit of recovery work but most
are in pretty good shape.
