The Oak Bridge Club (formerly known as Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass) in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., sits adjacent to the famed Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. The 6,413-yard, par-70 Arnold Palmer design features water on every hole, tree-lined fairways and undulating greens. Oak Bridge favors accuracy and strategy over power and distance. New owners have upgraded the clubhouse and introduced a new restaurant, The 3 Palms Grille. A tennis center is home to 10 Har-Tru clay courts.

Interesting course.Great value for the money.
Starting at 8:06 we could not use the driving range (because it was not open) and had to cope with the inconvenience of water sprinklers on three fairways. Nevertheless it was an interesting course that most certainly invites to play again.
Always the bridesmaid never the bride.
The Sawgrass course that never quite lives up to its PGA neighbors. Do not overlook this course, it has a lot to offer with a good Arnold Palmer design and fair conditioning. Bunkers are in desperate need of sand but tee to green conditioning is fair. Good facilities but clubhouse is a bit dated. $30-40 represents good value however so well worth a visit.
The course has a nice layout but the fairways are in horrible shape.
From the moment I arrived and walked into the pro shop I could tell that it was a poorly run operation. The person behind the counter was not real friendly. The so called pro shop looked like a store that was going out of business that day. The fairways were just plain yuck. The greens however were not bad at all. I personally will never play this course again at any price in the condition it was in.
Very nice course in good condition.
I enjoyed playing the course but was surprised that they let me me play alone when I said this was the first time I played there.
No carts available at check-in. Greens should be faster.
At check-in no carts were available for about an hour. The staff did not provide true and useful information about the situation. Course was average. Greens should be faster for a more enjoyable game.
Have played this course several times in the past, always enjoyable
Staff friendly, greens in very good condition, fairways a little sparse but that is no different than the majority of courses this Winter.
Much better than expected!
Tough par 3's and the front is more difficult than the back.
A good test of golf.
Course is in great shape!
I 'm recommending this to all.............
good greens,atmosphere,design..
A nice test of an older course.
This is an older course and a test of your skills. It had a period of time when it was not being given much attention to it's maintainence. Play was difficult and losing it's charm.
However, things are turning around and being cared for, so the fun is returning too. Give it a return visit and enjoy the play once again.
Decent winter conditions
I didn't have extremely high expectations for this course considering it's March, but it is located next to 2 of the best courses in Jax (Dye's Valley, TPC Stadium @ Sawgrass) so the bar is set high. A tight, fun layout, there is a lot of hidden trouble that unless you have course knowledge, it's tough to navigate around.
The greens need attention in some areas but otherwise roll well. Fairways were in winter condition, sand was very thin in all bunkers.
Clubhouse has a very late 80's, early 90's feel. Definitely worth it for anything less than $35. More than $40 unless it's a Sat/Sun morning and I'd look elsewhere.
very challenging for a short layout
nice course for $25. It would have been nice to have a beverage cart out there
Good Value....I guess
The course has a nice layout and usually good rates. The greens are usually average at best, but have been much better lately.
Very tight and challeging
Beautiful and well kept for this time of year. Only one green was rough, I enjoyed the round. The price was very affordable, and even had free coffee.
Fun but not easy
The course was soggy wet from recent rains making maintenance difficult. A few greens were littered with leaves and tree debris that couldn't be blown off thus making long putts even harder. The course was difficult to par due to these conditions and the tough pin placements but nonetheless was fun to play. The layout is quite attractive and although located in a residential community most of the homes are set back far enough to not be an issue.
A very reasonable price of $29 per person including cart can be found online.
Not a particularly memorable track , but a very good value for the money. Some very rundown housing along the front nine somewhat tarnish the feel.
Greens were in rough shape on several holes. They need to refresh their rental club selection. Ball washers need attention. Electric carts were really fast! Friendly staff, very accommodating!
Fun old style course
I enjoyed this course. It reminded me of an old style layout. The course was in pretty good condition. The only problem was slow play. There was a threesome two groups in front of us that had the whole course backed up. I did get to meet some nice people though as we were joined by the group behind us on quite a few tee boxes while we were waiting. Finally saw a Ranger with about two holes to go. I would definitely play here again. Good course for the money.
Bring "A" Game
This course with water, traps and overhanging trees will force you to play all your shots. Would love to be able to hit the ball with curve (both ways) with height (low/high) and with back spin. If you have a weakness in your game, PVGC will expose it. Felt great in that I only lost 1 ball. Think this course is one of the best values in the area.
The course appears to need attention and watering
Some of the greens have sand spots on them and others are spotty. It appears that the course in general needs watering. Pace of play slowed progressively. Too many singles and twosomes.
Very well maintained.
Played a quick round from the tips. Par 70 course, that was in very good shape. Very well maintained, even though the greens were a little slow. I'll take slow and well maintained over fast and inconsistent. Overall great value and experience. Would play again.
