The greens weren't in great condition, but other than that the course was in good condition. It's very scenic and a great value.

Normally my favorite course in town. Unfortunately the course appears it is not being watered. The greens are sand. The traps like cement. They just need to really water the course again. It's in super bad shape. Same as it was a couple years ago.

Poor service for facility. No one at bag drop, check in at counter cordial, but not welcoming. found our carts and had to extract info from the starter regarding course condition, where the 1st tee was (first time here). He did state that he can't wait for TPC to buy the course, since not a lot of money is being put into the course.
Course was not in good shape, tee boxes terrible, bare and many divots not repaired. Fairway ok, greens just airified (we were not informed) and not rolling well.
We played nine holes and not a great experience.

This is a very challenging lay out, especially from the back tee's. I was a little disapointed that the arification notice was not listed on Golf Now. The greens are recovering from an aggressive arification. In time the greens will recover and return to good condition.

This course is in rough shape. Every green was littered with dead patches and they were INCREDIBLY slow! It's such a shame that a course in such a pristine area is in such poor condition considering the company it keeps with PGA headquarters literally across the street. If you are looking for a bargain course worth the price then keep looking. The worst part was playing around the minefield of goose droppings!

The fairways were not in too bad of a condition, However, they are obviously going through the aerating process and have been letting the grass grow on the greens, That plus alot of sand. I understand this is a process that is required, But at least advertise the fact. Even when this process is complete, you can see there will still be quite a few patchy parts to several of the greens.

Very few yardage markers in the fairways. Few ball washers operational.

Challenging course layout. Pace of play was great. The greens were in less than desirable shape. Dead spots on the green led to sand popping into the air when shots landed. I guess you get what you pay for.

giving course benefit of doubt heard they had a lot of rain prior to our arrival. grass clippings all over course which should have been removed from course of this caliber.

Pace of play was great and the staff is super friendly. Tom, Mariano and Sam made the day very pleasant!

Enjoy playing there as the location is perfect, near the beach, the office and it's a fun course.

This course is $30, so I didn't expect much in terms of quality. The course layout requires some accurate tee and approach shots but the quality of the fairways and greens needs some attention. There are sandy patches on the greens that get in the way. Many of the bunkers have standing water or are so water logged they are impossible to play from. Overall if you play accurately you can get a quality round in, quick and with little interference from the poor conditions.

Course layout is interesting if a bit tight. Conditions typical of an average municipal course. Tee boxes and greens need maintenance, fairways OK, traps lack sand and proper drainage.

Tee box and fairways dried out and cracked. Needs mowing. Greens very slow. Only played front 9 because pace of play was so slow. No on course marshal......

Greens were TERRIBLE! Love the layout but the course is NOT being maintained. Cart and food/beverage staff were very cordial but the pro shop attendant (late afternoon) was not friendly at all! Played my last round there this weekend. Too many great courses in Jacksonville and surrounding area to ever play there again.

Played this course on 4/27/2013 and it was by far the least pleasing experience I've had at this location. Upon arrival and check in at the clubhouse I purchased a bucket of range balls, only had a small bucket available. Another person in my party arrives to checks in and they are out of range balls. No one was on the range, and the range was littered with balls everywhere, and no one with any look or urgency to retrieve them. In the mean time, twenty minutes has passed and we've yet to receive a cart for our bags. We had to walk across the street to the range with our bags until they could find us a cart.

The course itself has goes down in quality as well. The greens might as well haven't been the surface of the moon as no one in our foursome had one flat put. Balls bounced all over the place. We played an afternoon round and was placed behind a severely slow group. Had to ask the cart girl to inform the non existent ranger that they needed to encourage them to pick up the pace. Three holes later they finally did so.

We played as an experienced foursome, following a couple and their boys. At times we had 3 plus groups waiting on to tee off.

Greens were extremely slow and may signs of poor maintenance and conditioning. very disappointing as the surroundings and area are very nice.

Tee boxes and rough was quite lumpy and the sand traps need some new sand. There is plenty of water and traps strategically placed to make the course play hard for the average golfer. The greens were a little slow but at least they were green.
