Golf Club At Terra Lago - North Course
About
The Golf Club at Terra Lago boasts two 18-hole courses, the North and the South, that provide some of the most stunning and unique views of the Coachella Valley. Formerly known as Landmark Golf Club, it was home to the PGA Tour Skins Game from 1999 to 2002, which meant it has hosted a slew of big-name players including Greg Norman, Tiger Woods, and Phil Mickelson. Terra Lago's North Course is the longer of the two at 7,060 yards, which is partly a reflection of the dramatic elevation changes that the golf course tumbles across. From the seventh tee box's lofty perch, you'll get a panoramic view from one end of the valley to the other, making it the golf course's most scenic hole. But it's most challenging is a daunting par 3 with an island green that was the featured hole during the Skins Games.

What do you mean I can't pay cash?
Tried to pay cash for my green fee. Was told to use a credit card to pay or leave. Are you serious? Greens are all raised and very undulating. Played at 9am in under four hours. Course layout is really stupid. Don't go on a windy day or don't go at all, the choice is yours.
Fun course!
This was our first time playing this course. We were a little intimidated after watching a couple YouTube videos of the course but we definitely don’t play from the tips so the fairways didn’t seem as narrow as in the videos. The marshal Steve was great and even gave us a few tips for ball position as well as dinner recommendations. The course was in great shape. We will definitely be back.
Canadian
This a great experience. The greens were a little slower but we're very true. Played the north course which is a site to see..If you are looking for a challenge this the place to go.
If you have time to spare
Our first impression was Randall in the pro shop who I’m not sure how he could of cared less. There was a 2nd guy there who never got up, tried to hide behind the desk. 2 1/2 hrs for the front nine, tried to get a drink at turn. Bar sent us to desk to pay, guy there said to go back. Left the drink and went to #10. Back nine 3 hrs, teed off at 11:30 and got in just before dark. Service is terrible, course is average, greens are in good shape. If you have time to spare and don’t mind a long round it’s just ok..
Fun but challenging
I love Terra Lago. Both courses are challenging, I enjoy that every hole is very different. You have to think your way around the course a bit. The greens are very tough, large, tiered, sloping. They are tough to read, unless taking your time and looking from multiple angles. It is not a course to gain putting confidence. Putts roll true. It's in great shape aside from some of the work areas, but it's not loud or a real eye sore while playing. I will keep coming back.
Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were tricky. Loved the layout, good test. Definitely need to play a couple times for better course management. I’ll play again for sure!
Enjoyed the course. We were surprised that we got bypassed by the drink cart and finally were able to get one drink when we passed the clubhouse and saw here taking a break on our way to the 16th hole.
Great course for the $$
First time I played - pleasantly surprised.
Need to get the dining room open as meal options very limited. Better rates if you book direct with course!
North course
Fairways have not grown back in enough yet since they only reseeded a month ago. Greens are tough but speed was good not to fast with no flat greens.
Great bang for your buck
Really enjoyed our time at this course. The course and challenge was more than we expected, but in a very good way! Beverage cart was not that great, but overrall a good experience.
Course for Good Golfers
The course is for good golfers. It is hilly and plays long. The greens are elevated and if you miss severe slopes and bunkers. The layout allows you to see the holes ahead of you pretty well. The greens are difficult to read and to make putts. The carts do not have GPS and yardage was hard to get quickly, there were some sprinkler head yardage. The snack bar/food between nines took a while and another group went through. Overall a tough interesting course but I would say for good golfers really.
