The Golf Club at Terra Lago boasts two 18-hole courses, the North and the South, that provide some of the most stunning and unique views of the Coachella Valley. Formerly known as Landmark Golf Club, it was home to the PGA Tour Skins Game from 1999 to 2002, which meant it has hosted a slew of big-name players including Greg Norman, Tiger Woods, and Phil Mickelson. Terra Lago's North Course is the longer of the two at 7,060 yards, which is partly a reflection of the dramatic elevation changes that the golf course tumbles across. From the seventh tee box's lofty perch, you'll get a panoramic view from one end of the valley to the other, making it the golf course's most scenic hole. But it's most challenging is a daunting par 3 with an island green that was the featured hole during the Skins Games.

Awful customer service

The attendant at the snack bar at the turn was extremely impolite. We ended up waiting and then just putting our beverage back and walking out. The beverage cart appeared once in 18 holes. The pace of play was horrendous. Almost 5 1/half hours to play 18. On the positive side, the track was quite nice though ground conditions were mediocre.

Greens were very slow

Very pleasant round on an excellent course. Greens were very slow and somewhat uneven in speed; fairway bunkers are not being maintained; quality of the layout overcomes these issues.

Really cool course. I can’t wait to come back with my son. Only downside was the cart girl stopping by at the 15th green. A bit late in the round. No gps on the cart which would have been nice since it was my first time there. Otherwise it was great!

Great course, rude pro shop worker

If you're looking for a great course under $150 (which is near impossible to find in this area), Terra Lago North Course is a great option! Well kept, interesting hole layouts, and beautiful scenery. I haven't played the South Course, but based on what saw, it didn't look well kept. Pay a few extra dollars for the North Course.

If you're thinking about playing multiple rounds at this course, make sure to ask about the TL Card. It gets you great discounts. But you must ask about it before booking your first round.

The starter Robert, couldn't have been a nicer guy! Make sure to say hi if he's working. On the other hand, the person working in the pro shop couldn't have been more of a rude curmudgeon. Terrible representation of the course.

Terra North

North course was a pleasure to play! We really enjoy the day, tough but fair!

We played the south on Feb 3rd, did not like the south course at all!

Soured 12:50 tee time

Huge downer was we were informed after the 15th hole that we could not continue due to darkness while no dark for another 30 minutes at least. The staff should have warned us or a Marshall could have given us a heads up prior to the stoppage. Left a sour taste, likely may not come back. We have played every year for many years when we come to visit.

Could be great with some TLC

The course layout is very good, visually interesting and challenging without being crazy. It did become very difficult when 40 mph winds picked up in the afternoon. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are in good shape. The bunkers are not well-maintained. There are also several desert areas with trash and tire tracks. Some of this may be due to the ongoing housing development around the course. I would gladly return.

Why no cash

Could not pay cash for my green fee. Un-American to insist on credit card payment. Would never go back. Greens are impossible to navigate. Too raised and undulating

What do you mean I can't pay cash?

Tried to pay cash for my green fee. Was told to use a credit card to pay or leave. Are you serious? Greens are all raised and very undulating. Played at 9am in under four hours. Course layout is really stupid. Don't go on a windy day or don't go at all, the choice is yours.

Fun course!

This was our first time playing this course. We were a little intimidated after watching a couple YouTube videos of the course but we definitely don’t play from the tips so the fairways didn’t seem as narrow as in the videos. The marshal Steve was great and even gave us a few tips for ball position as well as dinner recommendations. The course was in great shape. We will definitely be back.
