Golf Club At Terra Lago - North Course

I played on Sunday it was a very windy day course was in good shape except the sand traps they were very crusty greens fast fairways in good shape

I always play this course when I'm here. Definitely a locals course. Unfortunately, they don't keep it up to resort standards, but the layout is great. The sand hadn't been worked in a while, but there was sand in the bunkers and the ones I played out of were fine. Greens were fast (for the area) and true. Excellent budget course if you want a top caliber layout but can overlook some of the warts.

south course closed and the brief glimpses of it I saw made it clear why. north course, they are doing a lot of upgrades so construction led to some weird routing.

with that said, this course was very fun. elevation changes, sometimes expansive fairways, other times you needed to have some accuracy. holes 15 and 16 are fantastic risk/reward holes with a gorgeous lake, 17 takes you away, then 18 is a fantastic finishing hole with a risk reward approach over the water.

when they get the sand replaced and a couple minor issues...this course will be super cool. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I played with two friends who also are familiar with the course. We had scheduled. Via Golf Now and changed the day because of the wind on Monday. I had to change the time to accommodate a dental appointment. The staff were very accommodating and got us a good time later in the AM. It all worked out well and the temperatures were comfortable, partially due to the light winds. It was a good outing, perhaps our last until next fall when we return.from our summer RV travels.

Overall I like the course but when walking on the greens it felt like we walking on straw. The player I joined up with felt the same.

I do love this course. But the greens were rock hard and super fast. Didn’t have to fix one ball mark all day. Bounced like concrete.

And the high winds next to 12, did cause a little visibility issues.

Near end of season. Parts of course really drying out. Overall nice track, has some great scenery and some tough holes.

First time at Terra Lago, played the North course. Heard great things before playing and everything was great. Pace of play was a little slow (no marshal on the course or starter), but during April is probably not common to have those.

Will definitely play again. Be sure to be on the correct side of the pin, greenside. Great layout of the course.

I played North Course yellow tees. There is one tee back and several forward for all handicaps.

Good variety of holes and green complexes are challenging. Fairways we’re fantastic; greens were a bit slow and bumpy.

Overall value was excellent and course was fun to play.

Under rated course with well placed fairway bunkers, deep green side bunkers, some water, elevation change, and natural desert on many holes. Overall conditions were good. Bunkers are a mess. I recommend this course.

Arrived early and pro shop told me the course was wide open. I proceeded to the first tee and like the pro shop said it was wide open. Got through the front nine really fast because there was no one on the course. Caught up with a twosome who has apparently been stuck behind a couple of slow groups, joined up with them on the 12th hole. The course was in fairly good shape. I think the north course layout is a lot better than the south. I rank this course as one of the better courses to play in the valley.

Great golf course. Bunkers were not in great shape but everything else was very good

This is the second time I have played the North course. The first time is a killer because the greens are undulating and you don't know what's behind the pin, so after having been burned for a few holes, you start to play short so that you can see where your ball lands up. Chipping around the green is hard unless you are a very good chipper - errant chips will roll off the green because of the slopes in every direction. I often landed up putting instead of chipping. The holes aren't long and are usually reachable in regulation, but the slope rating of 124 comes from the difficult greens.

Some scenic vistas of the area. The short par 3 on #15 coming home to the clubhouse is magnificent - only 112 yards (whites) but is an island green and the scenery is just perfect.

The north course is an amazing track with scenic views on the course and of the view’s around! The pace was perfect and the staff was very friendly! I highly recommend if your ever in the Indio area! A great price as well as I took advantage of a hot deal! Thanks and we will be back!
