The Golf Club at Terra Lago boasts two 18-hole courses, the North and the South, that provide some of the most stunning and unique views of the Coachella Valley. Formerly known as Landmark Golf Club, it was home to the PGA Tour Skins Game from 1999 to 2002, which meant it has hosted a slew of big-name players including Greg Norman, Tiger Woods, and Phil Mickelson. Terra Lago's North Course is the longer of the two at 7,060 yards, which is partly a reflection of the dramatic elevation changes that the golf course tumbles across. From the seventh tee box's lofty perch, you'll get a panoramic view from one end of the valley to the other, making it the golf course's most scenic hole. But it's most challenging is a daunting par 3 with an island green that was the featured hole during the Skins Games.

Was disappointed in the restaurant is closed except for events. Was also disappointed in the past wonderful practice areas are all closed now. Have fond memories of the past but not now. The employees are still great.
Terra Lago North
The course was in poor condition. They are doing construction near the course, so there was considerable dust on several holes. There are long drives between some holes, and some were on dusty gravel and/or dirt. The price was very good, but it is not a bargain at this time.
Not being taken care of
They have put the money into the development of new homes and have let the condition of the course run down.
Boys trip
It was windy to start but calmed down as the round went on. Only knock was lack of signage on a few holes due to construction. The bunkers are packed down and need some new sand.
Natural golf course
Really liked the course, different from courses with perfect fluffy sand.. For those of you golfer who can only handle soft sand, probably not for you. But No houses and natural desert golf was fun. A
Needs some upkeep
Course was pretty good shape, the bunkers where terrible, especially if you went in them not raked ,in quit awhile, washed out from irrigation all over the place.
4.5 hour round teeing off at 9 am, group behind hit in to us 2 times even though they could see we had no place to go.
The Pro shop guy was irritated we showed up.
Beverage cart
There is no beverage cart out on course club house is very poorly run no cash credit cards only and there machines don’t work most of time. The girls running little bar don’t understand English very well.
Course is in great shape. The weather right now is perfect. Take advantage while u can before it gets too hot. Definitely worth coming out.
Shocking decline in course condition
At the peak of the winter golf season in the Coachella Valley most all the 15 or so courses I've played are in excellent condition. Not so at Terra Lago!
Greens were patched in many places and inconsistent in speed. Many had burned out areas where water laid.
Bunkers were AWFUL with many having weeds and grass others looked like a lake and we've had no rain for 3 months. Still others had little or no sand.
Teeing ground on a few holes was chewed up and thus they were using areas which were not level.
This course has markedly gone DOWNHILL in the last year or so! I won't play it again until conditions improve significantly.
