Golf Club At Terra Lago - North Course

This place has been jacked up for a while really been avoiding it even though it's my home course. Thanks to the superintendent and their crew greens are the best in the desert for summer so if ur out here now in July or August play here. better players will be challenged from the tips.

I was surprised how cheap it was to go play here, sure it’s hot out but the course was pristine. Good choice!

We quit after playing 16 holes in over 4 1/2 hours. Would have taken over 5 hours to play the whole course because of the group in front of us. Askd a Marshal to speed them up. He talked to them at the turn. They ignored him and we never saw him again.

The experience was even worse because 2 of the (I believe) 4 water stations were broken or served up only hot water, there was no cart service and it was 106 degrees. Hard to stay hydrated.

Course was in exceptional condition. Best greens we have seen in summer in the desert in years! Loved it. Only issue is that the staff is less than welcoming. Pro shop guy seemed more interested in his online solitaire game than helping us. Water/ice dispenser was not working either. So… bring lots of water, expect to be ignored, then go play a great round at this fantastic track. Bravo to the greens keepers.

Course was in very good condition. Some pretty tight and uphill holes but overall very nice course. Some of the holes had flags positioned in very difficult spots, right on a slope and some of the greens played very firm and did not reward good approach shots. I had about 4 or 5 wedge shots land almost in the middle of the green and they would roll off the steep slopes of the greens. Definitely a course that takes a few rounds to understand where to hit your shots. Would play here again for sure.

Great varied course. Interesting layouts. Unlike many Coachella Valley courses, it isn’t ringed by houses.

Some work could be implemented in the fairways. Greens in good condition. The layout is still outstanding. Haven’t played north in a while. Having played, I now know it’s a much better layout than south. Both are fun.

I played on Sunday it was a very windy day course was in good shape except the sand traps they were very crusty greens fast fairways in good shape

I always play this course when I'm here. Definitely a locals course. Unfortunately, they don't keep it up to resort standards, but the layout is great. The sand hadn't been worked in a while, but there was sand in the bunkers and the ones I played out of were fine. Greens were fast (for the area) and true. Excellent budget course if you want a top caliber layout but can overlook some of the warts.

south course closed and the brief glimpses of it I saw made it clear why. north course, they are doing a lot of upgrades so construction led to some weird routing.

with that said, this course was very fun. elevation changes, sometimes expansive fairways, other times you needed to have some accuracy. holes 15 and 16 are fantastic risk/reward holes with a gorgeous lake, 17 takes you away, then 18 is a fantastic finishing hole with a risk reward approach over the water.

when they get the sand replaced and a couple minor issues...this course will be super cool. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I played with two friends who also are familiar with the course. We had scheduled. Via Golf Now and changed the day because of the wind on Monday. I had to change the time to accommodate a dental appointment. The staff were very accommodating and got us a good time later in the AM. It all worked out well and the temperatures were comfortable, partially due to the light winds. It was a good outing, perhaps our last until next fall when we return.from our summer RV travels.

Overall I like the course but when walking on the greens it felt like we walking on straw. The player I joined up with felt the same.
