Greens were beyond crispy - they were fast but literally looked and felt dead. Fairways were thin and rough with odd patches of raised grass of some other species - it all looks good from afar but once you're out there it's in pretty rough shape. But one of few public courses with a decent layout under $100 in the valley this time of year. Hopefully they get it turned around because I do like the layout

Hadn’t played the North course for 4 years, and didn’t enjoy the conditions then, so I wanted to try it again and glad I did. The course is in much better shape this time around. The greens are large, quick and bowl shaped, and the elevated ones are very tricky. Lots of our shots rolled off the back. I understood that the fairways were not over seeded, so in another month the Bermuda should come up nicely.

There is a lot of construction going on around the course, and pathways are not always clearly understood, specially going from 9 to 10.

But the weather was perfect, and I enjoyed the challenging layout (from the whites), so would go again some day.

I liked the layout and the greens. The fairways were pretty sparse. The staff, specially Randall who went out of his way to look after us, were excellent.

As a senior golfer, the course offers everything I want. Holes are not excessively long (like many Cal courses), but you must place your way around this beautifully laid out course. Good drives lead to challenging 2nd shots to the trickiest greens I've ever seen. (Even tougher than Torrey Pines). (Whoever laid out these greens is a masochist!) Overall, our family Scramble had a really enjoyable round! The group ahead moved out, so no waiting. The Pro shop guy was pleasant and obliging, and starter Aussie was his usual bright self! We do miss the restaurant, however. We'll be back!

The course was fun and every hole is different. I recommend playing the yellow boxes, otherwise it's pretty short. I would definitely play the course again.

Disappointed with the greens.

I booked here because of previous excellent experiences and the course conditions were no where near the standard of 3 years ago.

Not to be totally negative…The round was lots of fun, who can’t have fun when you have left snowy Calgary behind.

I may be a bit spoiled playing pretty good courses but this was in my opinion the worst course I have played this season (I am a golf member at a local club and play in the area for 6 months a year).

The bunkers are in terrible shape, the fairways and greens are either very bare or poorly watered and sandy. Tee boxes are OK.

They have construction going on in the area and most direction signs are poorly placed around the clubhouse.

First to tee off and done in 2 hours. The course pays attention to detail and all conditions are great. Even though it’s executive, great track to dial irons in.

Slow play was painful. 4 groups on each hole. Don't recommend and I will never waste my time to play there again.

We liked the layout and the greens at Tarra Lago. However, the fairways were somewhat sparse and hard but they were playable. Value for dollar was fair.

We do want to complement and give a tip of the hat to one of the staff in the golf shop. “Randall” was a great ambassador. He was friendly, courteous and went out of his way to welcome and assist us. Thank you Randall.
