Golf Club At Terra Lago - North Course
About
The Golf Club at Terra Lago boasts two 18-hole courses, the North and the South, that provide some of the most stunning and unique views of the Coachella Valley. Formerly known as Landmark Golf Club, it was home to the PGA Tour Skins Game from 1999 to 2002, which meant it has hosted a slew of big-name players including Greg Norman, Tiger Woods, and Phil Mickelson. Terra Lago's North Course is the longer of the two at 7,060 yards, which is partly a reflection of the dramatic elevation changes that the golf course tumbles across. From the seventh tee box's lofty perch, you'll get a panoramic view from one end of the valley to the other, making it the golf course's most scenic hole. But it's most challenging is a daunting par 3 with an island green that was the featured hole during the Skins Games.

Tee off at the 3rd hole, North course Photo submitted by jennifersings on 04/22/2013
Played north course. Fairways terrible. Worst in the valley. Used to be a good course. Won’t be back
It ok
Fairways were not in very good shape and the greens had some funny color. They were fast, but in terrible places
Well kept fairways and greens
For a course amongst rolling desert landscapes the fairways were immaculate. The greens were tough with Bermuda style grass. The views of distant mountains was spectacular. Walking from the golf cart to the greens might be considered strenuous for unfit golfers.
There was some construction on the back nine where it was difficult to locate the 14th tee box as well as the 15th tee box due to missing locater stones . Apart from that now knowing the course Ii would play it again.
Avoid at all cost!
Tara Lago North is a wonderfully designed course, albeit you never wanted to play it on a windy day. But the current course management has let it slide into a painful experience! The greens are all DEAD grass, spray painted a forest green color to look like grass. You can't put a ball-mark into them, and no putts will stop on anything as it is like putting on concrete. All of the lakes are down at least a foot if not two feet. All the Bermuda grass has appropriately died, but there has been little to no over-seeding, so the entire course is a mess. I used to absolutely LOVE this challenging course with its awesome elevated views. But it has been reduced to nothing but a disaster stealing money from the golfers who poney-up the funds to play it.
Unbelievably sad. I won't EVER be going back there!

Horrible
I’ve never left a bad review but wow, tee’d off around 1220, they placed me behind a “school” of Korean Golfers who took an extremely long time to play each hole, I got through 14 Holes before they made me leave the course (mind you it was only 1615 and not sun down) due to darkness. They literally chained the next whole off after letting the school go through. Complete rip off, didn’t care at all about the “non” school golfers, no warning they we’re playing by ahead of us, no refund, nothing. I’ll never play here again
Great experience.
Great course in great condition. With COVID on the rise, was disappointed single carts weren’t an option even when mentioning preference to the staff.
a nice day
it was a good day in Indio. the course was clean and the grass was short. nothing has changed from 2 years ago since I played this course.
Great round of golf
Excellent round great pace of play. Definitely will play again.
