Golf Club At Terra Lago - North Course

We played this course in October and were intrigued enough to go back. Great course but we gave the staff a pass on the mediocrity of service because of the end of season. Went back Jan 6th thinking it would be great. The course was again really fun, except the sand traps had no sand in them. Rest of the course was in good shape. There was a cart serving on the course so that was nice but still felt low level public. Golf shop is nice but there really is no draw to going inside for a fun drink and snacks afterward. The golf cart guys are aweful same as in Oct. Yes -they give you a ride from the parking lot but helpful-NO. The guy watched as my husband unloaded our clubs and we were the only people on the cart! No class, no help in finding the driving range, 1st tee box, bathroom. It really could be a great, such a nice course but feels like nobody really cares about the details.

Day was beautiful given the current weather in southern California. Course was in fairly decent conditions overall, greens were in decent shape and as couldn't be slower.

Course was in great condition, pace of play was great as we were one of the first groups out. Cool desert views, would recommend.

Course is good, greens r pure but very slow. Range is big only complaints are the grass not being cut and the balls being old and beat.

This course is a ton of fun, challenging and holes all play different. For what you pay, the course is kept in good condition and most staff are friendly. It’s true what everyone says about the grumpy staff at check in, but we were aware of this before we played and just had a giggle about it. Felt kinda like the “Soup N&zi in Seinfeld. Shuffle two steps to the left “golf please sir” and then give them your card. We laughed about the weird situation for the rest of the day. Get past the “Golf N$zi” and you’ll be just fine playing here.

Terra Lago North is an underrated golf course and the course conditions are the best in last few years. Fairways are lush albeit not much rollout and greens are very good but a bit on slow side. For the high season, this can be a better value than other courses in area. The North is a desert course with several nice views from elevated tees and water comes into play mostly on the back nine. Course is moderately tough; rewards most good shots but just enough trouble to penalize you on your bad shots.

The only reason i think it doesn't get the love it deserves is because its hard. For the desert its narrow, Elevated, challenging greens and can get windy. I love it! Give me a big long demanding course with some forced carry's and water. It was in the best condition I have ever seen it. Fantastic!!!

Fair/good price for this course. Numerous patches on the greens, made for difficult putting conditions; staff in club house had an indifferent bordering on rude attitude.

The course is ok, but the experience is ruined by the rude guy (Randall) behind the counter. I resent paying money to be treated like I'm an inconvenience to his valuable time. He really shouldn't be dealing with the public in any capacity.

This person who I did not get a name, was grumpy grandpa behind the desk. He needs to retire!

We came in off the back 9 and went into the pro shop and notice they did not have Gatorade or something similar, my father was paying with cash and the gentleman behind the desk said "we don't take cash" really on the golf course, then says "it is Trumps fault" now politics are involved in a place of business. Very poor experience, this is our fourth time playing, he he has been rude all occasions, very course nice course but mean grandpa needs to retire, seems like he hates work.

Excellent condition from tee to green. Friendly and helpful staff from start to finish. Numerous of course amenities. My favorite course of the 5 I played this week.

We had a blast playing this course. We teed off 6:30am - some of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. Elevated green complexes, always add at least 1 more club. Greens were great - fairways were great. ONLY BUMMER grill was closed for summer (they could have told us so we could have made other food arrangements) - otherwise - it was great.
