Golf Club At Terra Lago - North Course

At the peak of the winter golf season in the Coachella Valley most all the 15 or so courses I've played are in excellent condition. Not so at Terra Lago!

Greens were patched in many places and inconsistent in speed. Many had burned out areas where water laid.

Bunkers were AWFUL with many having weeds and grass others looked like a lake and we've had no rain for 3 months. Still others had little or no sand.

Teeing ground on a few holes was chewed up and thus they were using areas which were not level.

This course has markedly gone DOWNHILL in the last year or so! I won't play it again until conditions improve significantly.

The grassed areas were in great shape. Greens were kept in great shape. The bunkers were deep and plentiful, however the worst or if was that they were not well maintained and not consistent. Most of the bunkers were very hard and not good shape. The club house was not set up well to serve drinks and snacks at the turn.

Course was in great condition, FRONT nine pace of play was good as could be ,Back nine was very slow 3 hours so frustrating to say in 30 degree weather.

Super hot day, but really enjoyed the course - excellent value for the price...great track. Pace of play and green speeds a bit slow, but overall experience very good. I'll go back!

Slow to move clubs to cart area. No carts available for quite a while. No tease in the golf cart no sand in the golf carts. Upon return from golf, no car pick up, had to carry our clubs to the car ourselves.The check-in guy was extremely grumpy.

We arrived at the course at 12:45 for a 1:30 tee time. We wanted to hit balls at the range. However, they did not have any carts available. The workers were a bit overwhelmed and said they would shuttle us to the range. But there was not a plan in place with the shuttles and we had to jockey for spots going to and from the range. Not a relaxing way to begin the round. Inexcusable not to have enough carts.

The course is in awesome condition. Client Services left a little bit to be desired. No one to trolley our bags from bag drop to the lower level where carts are located.

Upon check in was greated by grumpy old guy behind the counter who pretty much chastized us for using GolfNow to book our golf round. We have experienced this before with him. After that experience we travelled down the stairs to the cart area. No carts available. We were told they were all charging. There were approximately 15 people waiting and the frustration with them as well as us was evident.

We purposely arrive approx 30 - 45 mins before our round to warm up etc and to ensure we arrive at starter ahead of schedule.

The starter was awesome with lite humour.

I will golf here again because I love the course but client services leaves a little to be desired.

No seed pods for divots in the cart and no tee’s provided.

Played yesterday with two of my brothers and a local they paired with us. Local was great. He lived on course, so he had lots of local knowledge.

A very nice course. They charged us a local rate which was much lower than what was advertised so that was a great start.

Course was in very nice condition with quite a few scenic holes. Greens were a little slow but in very nice shape. Pretty forgiving fairways but if you stray into the desert, it can be tough to find or hit your ball. Pace of play was excellent. Finished in less than 4 hours.

Some hills and definitely not a walking course. Staff very nice. Would definitely play again.

I would recommend this course. Relatively to the other desert courses this course is a bargain.

We are avid golfers and enjoyed the course a lot . The pace of play was horrible 5.5 hour round and waited on every hole including hole 1. The course is challenging with an excellent layout .value for course green fees is acceptable . I recommend the course .

College golf practice round unfortunately not respecting pace of play and no course Marshall’s .

Nice to see the place in good shape. Fairways a little long greens good speed and healthy. The LPGA training grounds!!!

The course says it 4.5 hours with no enforcement and that's just too long. We could not finish the last 3 holes. No value in that.

Course was in fantastic condition. Staff were very friendly and courteous unlike in previous years. Overall a great experience.
