Formerly known as Landmark Golf Club, the Golf Club at Terra Lago was the host of the PGA Tour Skins Game from 1999 to 2002. The club's impressive guest list includes Greg Norman, Phil Mickelson, and Tiger Woods. There are two 18-hole courses available called the North and the South. At 7,044 yards, Terra Lago's South Course is just barely shorter than the 7,060-yard North Course but they are equally challenging. The South is known for having one of the club's most unique and memorable holes, the par-4 second. This narrow hole runs alongside a wide canal that makes anything hit to the right impossible to play. The unique part of the hole comes as you approach the green. To cross the creek, rather than having a traditional wood bridge, the course designer crafted a bridge from an old rail car, which explains its nickname as the "Boxcar" hole.

Overpriced Course Needs Attention

Fairways were all poor, almost impossible to get a good lie on 2nd and 3rd shots. Greens were the best but somewhat inconsistent. Would not play here again even if it was free. My review is a fair assessment after playing 18 holes on the South Course.

South Terra Lago has a ways to go

Course has been neglected for years in my opinion. It has the bones to be a fun course. Great views of mountains. Course conditions were poor due to prior neglect, but new owners hopefully will bring it around. It is in wide open area, so on windy day it can be a nightmare.

Overall, below average course & that’s why the price is low.

Going in the wrong direction.

We hadn't played Terra Lago South in two years. The course has definitely gone downhill. Not well maintained as in the past. Owners have let it deteriorate in favor of the North course. Too bad.

Needs help

Perhaps the North Course is the preferred course at this location but the South Course is a really fun and challenging layout but for whatever reason, management has allowed it to really take a hit!! The tee boxes and greens are okay but fairways, bunkers and other areas are simply not being maintained properly. My wife and I had a 6:50 am tee time so no issue with pace of play but we did pay $80 per person which in the Palm Springs area now is a BARGAIN…but I found myself resenting even paying that amount.

C’mon guys, do some maintenance!!!

Very disappointing. I have played this course multiple times since it was the Landmark.

It has deteriorated from a prestine course to a dogtrack

Good Value but…

I enjoyed playing Terra Lago South. I think the layout is solid, challenging, and offers opportunities to make birdies. The reason I only gave two stars to course conditions is because the majority of the greenside bunkers lacked consistency and there wasn’t enough sand in them which didn’t allow you to play the proper shot. And the fairway waste areas were even worse. I would still play there again because it’s under $100 but it would be nice if they spent some money upgrading the bunkers.

Terra Lago - South

Course conditions were sub-par to other area courses. Not sure why? Fairway - uneven growth; greens slow and inconsistent compared to other local courses.

Not worth the money

Played the South course. Course is in poor shape, not enough signage around the course. The other couple actually got lost going out to play the back 9 and missed playing a hole. Very windy on the course . I know you can’t help Mother Nature but they should get rid of the golf course and put up wind turbines! Washroom was out of order on the course. No snack shack or beverage carts, water fountain was out of service. They don’t want you to bring your own food and drinks but don’t have any available except going back to the clubhouse..

No thanks, better deals out there for your money. I play 130 plus rounds a year and would rate this track as one of the worst.
