Golf Club At Terra Lago - South Course

The South Course offers a challenging layout regardless of your tee choice. Accuracy and course management are key to score well. Putting is fast and varied undulations can cause you trouble.

But enjoy a course that was part of the fabled Skins Game played years ago ⛳️

This is the best buy on Tee off and golf now in the palm springs area. Fast greens,, nice views of the mountains.

Good course, rough in places but like the greens..

Overall enjoyed playing the course. Pace of play was good. The course conditions are poor and need better maintenance. When we finished the run we had to “pack” our bags from the cart return spot which was annoying. Should be allowed to drive cart to bag drop off spot.

I paid only $45 and felt suckered. Easily the worst course I have ever played and I play over 150 times a year. No grass on fairways, no sand in bunkers, no definition to bunkers anymore. Tee decks and greens are actually not bad. Everything else in between is awful. It is like they are trying to not be a golf course. I am sure it was nice one day and the North looks like a course so they supposedly know what to do, just choosing not to do it. No marshals to keep play moving when people are taking 3 hours a side. Save your money and play anywhere else.

We enjoyed our round on this challenging course. Lots of sand and some water, too. It was our first time there and didn’t know about the canals on the front nine. Hit some good shots that quickly turned bad.

It would have been nice to know we wouldn’t pass the clubhouse at the turn. There was no beverage cart and no water available on the course.

Greens are really fast. The south corse is a quality course. I can only imagine how nice the north course is. This is a must play course when you are in the Palm Springs to Indio area.

1st time we player here and have a few comments.

No access to the club house for food / drinks at the turn...9th hole. No snack / drink facility along course. ...drink cart had a few sandwiches but only saw it once. Cart path directions were confusing on several holes. Carts were limited to specific areas and would shut off. We were never told of this feature or how to correct it. Lastly...there was no layout of the course greens. Usually found on the score card or hole marker. Other courses provided GPS map with the carts.

Good course…little scratchy in places…

Condition has deteriorated, overpriced all things considered.

Fairways were in terrible shape. Greens ok but hard, nothing would stick. No opportunity at turn to get to clubhouse (cart restrictions, way too far to walk), so no snacks or drinks. No one mentioned this during check in. Gentleman working check in was absolutely rude and miserable to everyone I watched having to deal with him.

North course for same price is night and day better shape.

We teed off with 2 wonderful gentlemen and were really enjoying our day until the 6th hole.

The Course Marshall came by and in an unpleasant manner, said that we were going to have to speed it up because he said that there were 21/2 holes empty in front of us!! I guess the 3some behind us called the clubhouse saying we were slow. The 3some were long hitters and each had their own cart...what???

How can they say we were slow when we played the front nine in 2hrs & 7mins and we finished the game in just over 4hrs. The course Marshall obliviously didn't have his facts straight.

Is it because there was a woman in our group? The woman actually scored better than 2 of the men!

We've travelled here for 15 years and played this course a lot and have never been told that we were slow.

About the course...we played there a couple of weeks ago and we saw great improvements. The bunkers had sand and the rough is greener...nice change from last time.

The pro shop and cart staff were very friendly, but I only gave "staff friendliness" 1 star because of the rudeness of the Marshall.
