Formerly known as Landmark Golf Club, the Golf Club at Terra Lago was the host of the PGA Tour Skins Game from 1999 to 2002. The club's impressive guest list includes Greg Norman, Phil Mickelson, and Tiger Woods. There are two 18-hole courses available called the North and the South. At 7,044 yards, Terra Lago's South Course is just barely shorter than the 7,060-yard North Course but they are equally challenging. The South is known for having one of the club's most unique and memorable holes, the par-4 second. This narrow hole runs alongside a wide canal that makes anything hit to the right impossible to play. The unique part of the hole comes as you approach the green. To cross the creek, rather than having a traditional wood bridge, the course designer crafted a bridge from an old rail car, which explains its nickname as the "Boxcar" hole.

Hurry up and wait

To start the driving range was closed due to seeding, which I understand but it would have nice to be notified when making the tee time. We had to make our way in to the club house at 515 pm. No matter where you were in your round. The sun didn’t go down till 545 or 6. They did get us off 30 min early but the round was really really slow. There was no drink cart making rounds and it was 90 degrees plus. I have never completed a review before so for me this says a lot. I paid 50 a player for this round and i feel like I over paid.

Slow with poor bunkers

Would not let us bring drinks, yet we never saw the beverage cart after the first hole. No sand in the bunkers, however the greens were quite good

HotDeal

Played from the gold tees, great test.

Sand traps/bunkers are long past their prime.

Bermuda greens were in good shape.

Got a great price, compared to the premium priced courses around town...very good value.

TOUGH CALL

The course(South) greens and fairways were in fairly good condition and the layout and visuals from a distance were great but too many negatives for our foursome to return for play. Huge mounds of mower clippings near several tee boxes and greens, sand bunkers in terrible condition, never saw a beverage cart in 18 holes and no water/ice on the course(90+temps), the few staff members we interacted with were rude, post round at 5:10PM wanted to use restroom facilities but clubhouse was closed

Won't play again

We have played this course 3 years in a row and this will be our last. Signs up warning NO FOOD OR DRINK BROUGHT IN.... but then all water stations not working. No beverage cart either. Full of players so you would think they would have this service going on. Slow play too. Called pro shop to send out a Marshall to speed up the group in front....never saw them. Course was in just ok condition and staff kind of rude. Guy at the bag drop never said anything to us.
