This time I did not have to play with or follow beginners, for whom the course is far too difficult.

So we went round in 4 1/3 hours - instead of occasionally 5 1/2 hours !! So much better.

The greens and fairways were in very good condition. The tees were a bit rough. A fine round indeed.

Please Anaheim Hills Proshop etc, discourage beginners - so pace of play can be good for the vast majority of players!

This course has a nice layout and many holes are interesting to play.

I love the variety of challenges of this course - currently in pretty good condition - but 5 1/2 hours for a round is far too slow. This course is far too challenging for beginners - please tell them!!

This once beautiful Course has really stepped down a few notches in recent years. It started a few years ago when they removed mass acreage of grass only to plant weeds and “indigenous plants” to take over instead.“ Then a year or so ago they decided to bury their one and only water feature /Lakeview with dirt and let the weeds and mosquitoes take over. They call it a butterfly sanctuary which is a complete joke. It’s nothing but a mosquito ridden mud bog that now causes 4 holes surrounding it to slowed pace of play because of people searching for balls in what once was the lake. Not to mention it looks horrible. They chose to tear down the one and only bathroom near the lake and replace it with a porta potty instead of renovating the bathroom. Pretty sad a golf course of this caliber can’t even maintain one water feature that encompassed five holes of the course. I will give them some credit. They have done upgrades to bunkers and cart paths etc. which baffles the mind why they would let this dried up lake eyesore be the centerpiece of their course. It’s a shame.

Played here many years. Got my first hole-in-one in my life in 1985 on the seventh hole. Beautiful day out very friendly people enjoy the heck out of it.

At the 4 hour mark we were on the 13 hole tee box with a group on the green and another group ahead of us on the tee. We waited on every single shot. Never saw a marshall. We had to quit because it was starting to get dark. What a waste of time and money. We will never return to play here.
