Anaheim Hills Public Country Club

Rates are reasonable for OC. I’ve always had a good round and the pace is usually consistent. About 4.5 hours. Course is in good shape. Staff is friendly and helpful if necessary. Lotsa uphill and downhill shots. Par 3s are fun. Over the years I’ve never had an issue to speak of at Anaheim Hills and it’s always a fun round.

Green fees are reasonable, especially in OC. Staff is friendly and courteous. Course was in very good shape. Pace of play was great. No complaints.

A good, challenging course. Pretty difficult for my skill level. I would consider the fairways tight, not especially long. The pace of play was great, although we were the second foursome out. The restaurant was pretty decent, good sized portions and the food was good.

What a great course! A hidden gem, with challenges on every hole, especially the blind holes and hills. One of the most interesting courses in this area - and certainly the most beautiful. I will be returning soon, maybe even joining the club!

It is difficult to feel the distance on the course with height difference. I enjoyed it the best.

Lots of blind shots , but offers a challenge that you don’t get at many other courses. Has some good views and fun Par 3’s. Staff was great, very friendly and conditions are good. Was it worth 85$ though…probably not.

Bad green’s shape, terrible tee boxes, and poor cart’s condition, computer screen no accurate.

Nope… this course isn’t it. Greens are in terrible shape as they are being sanded. Tee boxes are all closed so be prepared to hit off temporary tee boxes all day. Some were located in the rough. You’d think with all that you’d get a nice cheap discount. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Range wasn’t even open at 7:30am despite there being no maintenance being done. $60 is an absolute rip off for the experience you get.

Even in good shape I find this course to be incredibly gimmicky and harshly penalizing at times. Each time I play here I regret my decision. Drive to Corona for courses with better value.

Bye bye Anaheim hills won’t miss you.

Decided to play here as a back up because the course I was going to play had it advertised that greens had been punched. Nothing said at check in or a discount but got to the first green and it was covered in sand. Very disappointing this was not mentioned at check in. I would have cancelled had I known

Very competitive course. I will definitely play here again.

If you want a bit of a challenge with elevation changes and different lies, this is the course for you. Very well kept fairways were nice to see during this time of year. There is a lot of brush and vegetation in the OB so, a slice or hook can get you into trouble. A few holes are also blind off the tee so be careful not to hit up on those in front of you. Also you are hitting below the tees on a couple of holes so wild tees are usually in the other fairways. If you aren't as accurate, you'll be using a lot of balls, so stock up for this course. There is a par 5 with a major dog leg left in the back nine that is almost a U. On top of that, you have to hit up to an extreme elevated green that goes up a hundred feet or so. Don't feel bad getting a 7 or 8 on this hole . For the most part the back nine is more difficult than the front nine but it's challenging enough of a course to test your skills.

I played Anaheim Hills for the first time in a few years and it is still one of the nicest courses around. The course was in excellent conditions. The greens were rolling nice, fairways in good condition and the layout is fair. Range was not open today but it is nice and has ample spaces for warm up. Anaheim Hills is a keeper.
