Anaheim Hills Public Country Club

The fairways are in great condition, the tee boxes are getting worked on right now, the greens are excellent. This course is all about course management. Lots of dog legs so you'll have to make sure you use the right club. We came out to play and pick up a wedge one of my buddies left behind the week prior. Thankfully, someone found it and turned it into the pro shop. That day I also happened to lose my phone! I called the pro shop the next day and again, someone turned it in! There's something to be said about the community that golfs at Anaheim Hills. The grill makes some amazing food too! Also - if you forget your cigar, no worries. The cart girl has them in stock :)

Caution many Tee Boxes are under repair. Temp box location are not ideal. Have teeing off at ladies tees or even shorter. Course should have discounted price ?

Grass in bad condition. All tee boxes are being re-done and we weren’t told about this when booking. All tee shots are from ladies tees right now….. would not recommend playing here. I won’t be back.

At least half of the tee boxes are under construction so you have to play off of the most forward tees on Half of the holes. I can understand working on two or three of the two boxes at a time but why would you do so many? It really took away from the play.

Course was in great condition, a lot of tee boxes are under construction but still a great course to play.

I love this course. Tight course you have to plan where you want to hit it. In pretty good shape. Some of the tee boxes are terrible slanted and in poor shape. Could be a lot worse. Great for the money!

The beauty of the course and the elevation shifts make this a really nice course to play. Wildlife is everywhere. The fairways are so close together as to sometimes be hard to tell apart, with tee boxes shifting directions frequently. Fast greens and well manicured fairways. Downside: No club drop off point, carts are very basic, wanted to hit some balls, but ball machine was empty repeatedly

Course in decent shape but My buddy who is a member was hit directly in the leg on hole 11 as the fence from the driving range does not protect the players. Luckily its is just a bad bruise but it’s absolutely ridiculous that player on the green have minimal protection from people on the range, borderline negligient. It couldve been worse.

First time @ Anaheim Hills. Teed off at 6:48 AM so the pace was excellent. Course is fairly narrow and lots of tree lines so not too forgiving.

I really enjoyed how there is a ton of risk reward shots presented hole after hole, especially on the front 9. Makes it challenging and makes you really think about shot management!

That said, I think for the money value, this course is priced a bit too high. To me it seemed like an above average municipal golf course so I don’t see how the price is justified. Luckily, we got a great deal online at $50 bucks but I would not play there for the price they charge.
