Excessive hills and blind holes

The worst hole on the course was a silly dog leg, uphill par 5. The hole and overall play of the course would be greatly improved by reducing the hole to a challenging par 4. The last 100 yards are uphill to a very small, crowned green that is totally blind.

The electric golf carts are fine and have GPS.

Price increase with no major quality increase

This is a great course. But the recent price hike (probably over a year now so not so recent) was not matched with better quality. The course is the same as it ever was, except now they went back to the older layout with the 1st hole being the par five with the elevated and tiered tee boxes. They should go back to offering a few 20-25$ spots per day, and be in the 40-45 range any other time. Better twilight would improve their rating as well.

Still plays slow

I had not golfed here in quite sometime, mainly due to the cost and the difficulty of getting 18 holes played during twilight. But my buddy and I decided to play again. Still plays slow. Waited at every tee box during the round and was well over 5 hours to play. As for course conditions. was in better shape than I remember it. They do a good job of keeping it watered and green. Putting surfaces were in good condition and rolled true. The fairways are lined with many eucalyptus and oak trees which can make tee and fairway shots tricky. Water comes into play on one or 2 holes, although not a huge concern. This is also a hilly course, with some nice views of the surrounding area. We paid $42/person, which I think is a fair price for the track. Would not pay the $68 advertised for the morning. All in all, if you don't mind a fairly slow round, is worth a play.

6 hour round is unacceptable, waited 15-20 minutes every hole

Tough course with a lot of blind tee shots. Long wait all day. 6 hour round is crazy. Good company is about the only positive out of the day

WILL NEVER PLAY THIS COURSE AGAIN! Please read this review..

I have played Anaheim Hills twice now and will never go back. Both times have been terrible experiences and 5 hour rounds of golf (I played both rounds on weekdays too, so I cant even imagine the weekend). The course is way overpriced for the quality. They have the most unfriendly starters who literally act like they are running Pelican Hill. I booked a tee time with 2 buddies, and they forced a single that had a tee time in front of us join our group. To top it off, they wouldn't even let him have his own cart and made him share a cart with us when there were plenty of carts still available. I rarely write even write online reviews on courses but felt like I had to take the time to do so for this course.

The only positive thing I can say about this course is they have GPS on the carts.

Postcard perfect views make it easy to forget how hard a shot you have to make

I am a beginner, only shot under 100 once in my life. Needless to say this was a challenging course; I can’t wait to play there again. To say the staff goes out off their way to make you feel welcome is a huge understatement. I actually believe they wanted my brothers and me to enjoy the experience and just have fun. I have been to courses that are not as classy, but made you feel like you had to be someone special or very wealthy to play at their club; this is not the case at Anaheim Hills. This was a very enjoyable experience.

Slowest round in years

We had great memories of playing this course for several years when we lived in California, so I wanted to take my daughter (who plays golf in college) to play it. After three hours, being hit into twice, waiting on EVERY shot, and never seeing a ranger trying to help, we gave up after nine holes. The course is great, but even with an early morning tee time (which we had), I'll never go back.

Keep it in the fairway.

I've played Anaheim Hills many of times. I remember it is a fun course when your on your game. If you are off here you pay the price. Long Grass off the fairways. Elevated T shots require a straight shot. If windy better have a straight ball. Or good control. I was off here this time when I played. I'm a 19 handicap right now. I have played this course at an 11 handicap and it was easier. I love Anaheim Hills and the deal we got from Golf Now I'd definitely play it again.

SLOW play

Started off bad... the starter moved a foursome in front of us a threesome????? We were on the putting green and when we reported to the starter they were 20 minuties behind at 10:30am. Waited on every hole! Left at hole 15 at 4:40 hours. Would not reccomend at $65.

Interesting course

The course was well maintained and had some challenge.
Problem was the pace of play (very slow) and there are more than usual number of power lines. Main drawback was that many of the holes are side by side so you have players' balls landing in your fairway.

Great Course and Friendly staff

Both the Starter and the Pro Shop guys were very nice. This is a great course IMO, and it really helps if you've played it once or twice before due to all the blind dog legs or elevations. The GPS on the carts is a nice plus as well. Will get back here again. Would have been 5-stars except that some of the fairways weren't in the greatest condition, not bad but not great.

I live in Anaheim hills but drive to corona to play those courses. Played Anaheim hills yesterday for first time in more than 15 years + reminded y

No Marshall's. poor condition. Municipal course feel for daily rate prices. They think and act as though they are black gold and they are not even jurupa hills, Indian hills, menifee lakes or Los serranos or prado. Terrible experience and course is fairly boring too.

Hilly course with good views.

A hilly course with good views and some blind shots. Slow greens with too many ball marks. Apparently the regular players there do not know what a repair tool looks like?

Nice Course..Play it again Sam

Play this course more than once and you'll be rewarded with the knowledge of its layout. Challenging and fun for most levels of golfer. It's one of those courses that gets better the more you play. There are at least 4 blind doglegs that once you know where to place your tee and second shot, will be much more fun. This is a course where you can actually expect to lower your score with each time out. Good course overall and very playable.
