About
The South Course is the more well known of the two championship golf courses at Los Serranos Country Club. The course has a reputation for being one of southern California's longest thanks to the Jack's Black tees, which stretch to more than 7,600 yards. It is a lengthy test, but it is not as intimidating as it seems. The golf course is forgiving with par 5s that give you realistic opportunities to boost your score, though the course should not be taken lightly. Course management is the key to successfully maneuvering the elevation changes and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course finishes with its signature hole, which is also its longest at 673 yards. A lake frames the hole and accuracy with each shot is essential. It is a playable course, but beginners who aren't yet up for the challenge can try their hand at Los Serranos Country Club's shorter, more player-friendly North Course.

Fun and enjoy
First time to play golf at Par 74 course, pace of play, condition and layout, all are excellent! Seeking chance to play again.
Good weather ,excellent course
It's time to return to the course! Los Serranos is excellent in their course configuration. You can enjoy both hilly courses and flat courses at a time.

Course in good condition considering the hot dry weather
To play South Los Serranos course, one will find it extremely difficult in today's heat. The course is very hilly and long. It is a beautiful course. I especially liked the GPS feature. The course was very challenging to me. The sand in the sand hazards was almost like playing in some one's driveway(very hard). golfers need to replace divots and correct divots on the greens. In spite of my minor criticisms , I feel that it is a great course and I look forward to playing next week on the North course.
Tee time
Reserved my tee time for the south course at 9:36 all went well sign in and got my cart. Went to the starter booth. Said I might not finish due to tournament starting at 1pm. And then started that the golf office call and said I have to play the north course, my question I booked the south course because to me that is a great challenge, I told the starter I did not book a time on the north course and did not want to play it. Was told in no words or less p,ay the north or nothing, matter no number two, I payed extra for the south course, but nothing was said about that, I did not go in to complain to management, but left a bit discouraged about how it was handle, thank you
Fun round
Super long course!!! I am not long off the tee only 280-300 yards, played from blue and it was a poke. Fun round low 80s

Anyone who’s looking to score, play here!!!! The south course is in awesome conditions. From tee box to greens.. shot a 70, 6 birdies 2 bogeys... if their was a con, I would like to see the. Roll the greens. Great conditions but bumpy you can’t see while your putting...

A Desired Golf Course
Los Serranos golf Course is a nice playing ground for golf lovers of all skill levels. Staffs are friendly, ground keepers keep the entire course well maintained. Rangers keep the pace flowing smoothly. Love it and will play it again and again!
Pace improved
Pace of play was improved and only took three and half hours to finished 18 holes for twosome group.
One of my favorites in SoCal. Greens were awesome, quick and smooth. Fairways were great as well. Went in a few bunkers and very fluffy. For the price you can’t find a better deal.
My 4th of July Round
I was supposed to play the South but it was backed up. Played the North.and enjoyed it. Very relaxing . Was paired up with a very.nice golfer who.plays the.course a lot. I will definitely be coming back.
Pound for pound the Best course in IE.
Excellent course and tough. I’m a 8 index and shot a 81 from the Blue tees. Very challenging and long. Challenging holes and excellent fairways. Very nice greens and rolls beautiful. I’m guessing it’s a 11-12 on the stimp meter. Not as fast as eagle Glenn (13-14) on the stimp meter (approximate: guessing ). My favorite course to play in the ie : especially for under $40. You will not be disappointed: unless your a country club type.
