Castle Creek Country Club

It would be hard to beat the value of this course. In the last year the course has greatly improved overall. The greens are well maintained. The fairways are cut short for good ball roll.
The staff are great and willing to help you out with whatever you need. If you have not played you should give it a try. I think you will have a great day.

Castle Creek CC is on its way back to playing a contender and a great golf value.

Challanging and fun. Desighn is great. If you miss your farway sometimes its ok, you can play it from another farway. Just hope you get clear shot through the TREES.

Had a great time. Course is challenging but not over the top. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Staff was friendly and efficient. I will be back!

I played this course last week and it was in great shape. Both fairways and greens were well maintained. Overall it's a fun course, challenging course. The 3 narrow fairways on the back 9 are toughest. Staff, including the starter, marshall and waitress at the gopher hole were all nice and accommodating. I will be back!

The course was in good shape and the people who worked there were extremely friendly. I was a single and there was a few groups a head of me. The starter let me start out on the back since it was empty. Then when I made the turn I ran into the owner a really nice lady who also let me play thru. Then on the next hole, she went up to the foursome in front of me and told them to let me play thru as well. Really appreciated this as I was able to finish in 2:15 min. Will definitely go back. The greens were in great shape. Definitely a must for the money.

The water, or lack there of, is killing these courses. Greens were in pretty good shape but very slow, needed to be cut. Pace was good for a full course, just about 4 hours. Great deal for the money to get 18 in.

I have played this course a number of times in the past, but not recently. I was surprises that the greens were in excellent shape. This is a mature course a fair test of golf and fun to play.

Fairway and tee boxes in fair condition. Greens were in excellent condition. Pace of play very slow on back. Overall would play again.

Not too bad for the price. Drought has been tough on this course, but there are some fun holes and overall challenging layout.

Decent condition overall which surprised us due to water restrictions in San Diego County. The greens were awsome, smooth, reasonably fast, and challenging.

My group went there for a change of pace from our home course.
The staff was very friendly upon check in and at the turn. The locals whom T-off prior to my group were nice and gave guidance on the best way to play.
The greens were smooth and in great shape. The course overall was in great shape.
My group all agreed we will add Castle Creek to our rotation.

This course had nice rangers who kept things moving. Fairways run along each other and lots of men running into adjacent fairways for their shot. It was a friendly course and the price was great. Greens were the best part. Bunkers were thin and needed more sand. Fairways were ok and some elevated tees were exciting to hit from. Some of the tees had too long of a carry over a creek for me on the back nine because I'm not such a long hitter. Overall, it was a great day and I'd play there again if in Escondido. I lost one ball!

Castle Creek is very challenging - especially if you have trouble driving the ball straight. Narrow fairways will punish you if you are spraying the ball.

Main Problem is the lack of irrigation on the fairways

I have played Castle Creek several times recently. It is in very good shape, the greens are great, and the course offers a great layout. There are many challenging holes, but they are fair if you execute the correct shot. The pace of play has never been an issue for me, even on the weekend. The price is right on Golf Now and it is located right off the 15 fwy. I recommend Castle Creek as a fun satisfying day of Golf.

Went out to play as a single. The starter offered to let me go off the back which I did. Encountered only 1 foursome and they asked me to play through which I did. When came to the front nine the starter paired me with a twosome and by the time we got to the second hole we started waiting. As we came to the 4th hole the 5 some in front of us was still on the tee and one of them told me that they were waiting on the 5 some in front of them. We could see that the 6th hole ( par 5) was totally open. Not sure why the course allows 5 somes out without telling them they have to let quicker groups through.
