Castle Creek Country Club

Castle Creek has surprisingly been one of the best values in north county.
The new ownership is focused on creating a great experience for all.
The fairways are in good shape and the greens are even better. There a several risk/reward holes which offer the choice of trying to drive the green for an eagle attempt or play it strategically for the par or birdie.

Great fun for all skill levels.

Made for a great Monday afternoon golfing trip. They offer military and senior rates so the price is doable if you don't want to have to pay too much for a solid round of golf. The greens were in good condition, not too fast and not too slow. Some holes were more difficult than others but it was still a great place for any level golfer. On top of all this, I got one of the best hotdogs I've had from their snack bar.

I am a very loyal golfnow user I booked a tee time and planned accordingly! I made a special trip to this course because I live an hour away when I arrived I was told that I would not be able to tee off for two hours after scheduled tee time! Because of the release of a shotgun tournament! I had just driven an hour. Just to play here and not to mention gas to get there! They tried to rectify this by offering me a hot dog and chips! I was completely offended! The golf shop person was really rude and inconsiderate! I was told just to deal with it. Or contact golfnow

Course greens were great. Pace of play was average. Excellent food.

Excellent value through golf mow, although fairways hurting from lack of water (can be expected I guess).
Greens in good shape and layout challenging and fun for average player.

Got to course and walked into the clubhouse told the clerk we have 1220 time tee. First thing he says"where is your print out" I then told him its on my phone he stated you should have printed it out???? Sorry have you heard of a smart phone? You need a print out The guy was rude.Not even a greating when i walked through the door. He was eating lunch as he walked in still chewing his burger?? Then to boot the course was in horrible shape. I have been with golf now and never had anbody ask me for a print out and then scold me for not having one. Where is the customer service anymore?? The greens were horrible weren't cut and if you were three 2 feet away it wouldn't roll true. Too many courses to play where they treat you like a customer...

I love this place although 40 miles away from my place. There are lots of courses within 40 miles around my place, but this place is fun to play with various courses. Also the front guy is always too nice. He makes me feel ready to play with much of fun by his words. Had better try to play here one time!

Played golf here over the weekend and had a great time. The course was delayed because of frost, yes frost. The club house manager was very accommodating and really cared about the guests playing that day. He arranged a shot gun start and all was well. The course is in great shape and the greens were especially well maintained. all in all a five star worthy experience.

I will be back for sure.

The course was in decent shape and helped by the recent rains. The fairways are not the best but getting better the more rain we get. The greens are good. I felt they were a little on the fast side. You really need to be a straight hitter on 10, 11 and 12, otherwise you will find the tree line or out of bounds. Overall, I would rate the course fun to play with reasonable chances for birdies if you are hitting a lot of greens and keeping the ball below the hole. There is no driving range at the golf course.

enjoyed my time out on the course, was paired up with a gentleman from northern Ca. we both seemed to have a good time.

At check-in had to wait for several long phone conversations to end before I could be served. Parked next to the putting green, but got yelled at by a maintenance man who evidently thought I might block the path of some maintenance equipment. No signage to indicate I shouldn't park there. Stopped at the bar after the front 9 where the server was more interested in cleaning tables and yukking it up with other employees than in taking care of a paying customer. Staff friendliness was pretty much nonexistent except for the starter.

This course is ok for a round of golf. Somewhat tight fairways, because of the large trees. If you can keep the ball in the fairway, you'll be ok. The greens are in good shape, not too many unrepaired ball marks. I played here about 5 years ago, and not much has changed. Book your round for under $40.00 and just play.

We had a 12:45 tee time. Got there at noon. We were told they were about an hour behind because they had run short of carts. The guy in the "pro" shop could care less that we weren't going to get our round in. When asked how they had run out of carts, has said they didn't have enough for the tee times they had filled! Stay away from this place!

I had a great time. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The greens were in perfect shape. I will definitely be back.

No carts available. We were 5th in line waiting for carts to come off the course causing a 30 minute wait - at least - per staff. Got a rain check for next day. This is the second time this has happened - & the cart we got then couldn't make it around the course for another 18 holes.
The next day played in 3 1/4 hours. Course being serviced. Ladies tees moved back adding about 600 yards to the length.

This was the first time I played this course. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Due to the drought here the fairways showed the lack of water, but I cannot blame the course for that. It would help if they didn't cut the grass so short. Still, I enjoyed my round of golf and look forward to playing there again.

Wow, a 4 hour round on Sunday! My best score in a while. They were seeding back tee boxes. Really enjoyed my round. Liked the shorter par 4s where " risk reward" scenario gave you a choice to go for it with your driver.

I enjoy playing this course. Some what challenging, very fair.

I'm visiting from the east coast. I passed by this club from a distance and thought I would try it while I was out here. I booked through GolfNow, which was the best part about of the experience. The young kid in the pro shop had to put down his phone and acted like I was bothering him when I went to pay. The course was rough and the green we're worse than the fairways. On around hole 14, I caught up to a six-some that seemed to be playing best ball. This continued through the rest of the round. At one point the starter/Marshall asked me if there was a foursome in front of me. I informed him that it was actually six golfers that were playing best ball. He then said they should be playing quick then. My reply was, "you would think so." The Marshall concluded with, "well you're almost done anyway.

I love this course. This course is a great value and is fun to play. The only thing I don't like is Hole #10,11,12. You start off on #10 hitting down the hill then you play #11 hitting back up the same hill. then you play #12 hitting back down the same hill. The holes are all side by side and the only separation is a line of trees. It's far too tight. You have people hitting into your fairway. They should have made that just two holes not three with that space. the staff is awesome and the grounds are neat clean and several restrooms through the course.
