They really have the course in great shape, I have never seen the greens better.

My junior golfer and I had a 10:15 tee time. The staff took the reservation knowing that they had two tournaments going.that day, We were placed in the middle. After playing the first nine holes in four hours we dropped out. I asked for a rain check or something and I was told that we played to many holes already. I will never go back to that course again.

The greens were excellent, the staff friendly. It's an older course, older design, but greens are in great shape. Some holes require extreme accuracy which adds to the challenge. Interesting design, keeps your mind thinking. The sand traps need more sand and the fairways could use more water. All in all thought the course holds excellent value especially when compared to other weekend rates in central San Diego.

Greens were great, especially back nine. Worth the money.

I signed up as a single but was paired with another single. After 14 holes we joined the twosome ahead of us. They were a starter and a marshal from the course. Great guys. Both were very friendly and cordial. Course was fun and pace was good. Greens were very good. Fairways need a bit of work but certainly playable. Will play again soon.

overall the course is in good shape. fairways still need a fair amount of work, but greens were in above average condition. enjoyed the day very much.

Have driven by the course while on vacation over the past couple of years and decided to take a chance based on positive GN reviews. In short, course was in on great shape overall with very consistent greens. Likely should have played from the blue tees as the whites make for some very short par 4's. Houses along a couple of the fairways create a bit of mental tension, but all in all, a great round and great value with excellent customer service. Agreed that some additional sand in the traps would be a welcomed upgrade. That said, we will definitely return.

Course was in really good shape for this time of year. Fairways were a little patchey, but expected for March.

Biggest issue is bunker maintenance. No, zero sand in any bunkers, fairway or greenside. We were playing out of wet mud.

I really like this course as it is well layed out featuring a variety of challenges. I keep hoping to find some sand in the bunkers and improved grass on the fairways. If that were to happen this could be a 5 star course.

Even though the course wasn't in the greatest shape I still had a lot of fun and challenges.

We found castle creek
to be very nice course. Love the oak trees. The facility like the snack bar, restaurant needs upgrading. Over a good value for your money if you can get a good golf deal.

We played in 4 hours at 9 am on Saturday. The fairways are close to one another but not really a problem. We enjoyed it. It's a good value.

I have played Castle Creek many times. Today the pace was great. That is generally the case at this course. The course was in good condition. Greens a little slow as they had been punched recently. Need a little more sand in the bunkers. Great value and I will play the course again.

The course pretty wide open and the grass was well taken care of. Can't really beat it for the price. Staff was friendly and the bar in the club house had the best beer tap list of any golf course I've been to.

The course has an excellent layout but the condition was only fair......however, spring has not brought the course to its optimal condition.

High winds, lots of debris on the course and greens were just punched. play a little slow had to skip a hole to go around a foursome that were slow and created a 4 hole gap in front of them . marshal was made aware but i don't believe anything was addressed.

Very good, fast play, noon tee off, staff very friendly, lots of workers doing their thing. Knew about aireation ahead.

The course was in good shape. Greens are not quite as good as they could be but they were very playable.

Although your site told me aeration was going on it was worse than that. Only the front nine was open and the greens were still fully sand covered. I have played other courses during aeration but this was worse. Course should have been closed.
