Pretty good for the cost
Golf staff was friendly and helpful, pace of play was okay. First 9 was a little slow, but last 9 went fairly quick. Lots of water and sand traps, greens were rough. Overall worth the cost.
Won’t come back
No course maintenance. No food. Only one staff member for everything… carts, check in and everything. She didn’t even know what a putting green was. When asked, she directed me to the driving mat. All around poor experience
Great Lay Out
This course has a ton of potential and a great layout. The score has a perfect length for finishing up within 3 hours And the obstacles were nicely set. On the day of our play the greens were not cut. Very slow and bumpy. Certain holes were like rolling a ball across a Chinese checker's board. We played at a discounted rate so I was not too disappointed. I would definitely play here again at a discounted rate that is comparable to a couple of buckets of balls.
Please Hire a greens keeper.
Let’s start with some water. There is no reason that a course irrigated by reclaimed waste water should ever be brown dead and full of dusty dirt especially when it plays thru a gated community. Please hire someone who will bring this course back to life. It really was fun playing but course conditions were terrible. I do have to say that the greens weren’t too bad most were in good to great conditions.
Rough shape
Course was in rough shape, tee boxes rarely had grass just sand, fairways are rough and greens weren’t in good shape, for the price they charge I’d recommend playing elsewhere.
Not worth it
Kart broke down, the sand on the tee was better than the sand in the bunker, I’m not sure there was a green spot on the course, my buddy got hit with a golf ball in the crotch( that was funny). Honestly I was super disappointed and ended up getting my money back. I took they actually take care of this place I will not be returning.
Overpriced and extremely short
Played this course for the first time without properly researching. The course is extremely short, so I rarely had more than a PW or 9 iron into the green. Challenging because of water and creek, narrow fairways which is cool. Tee boxes were in terrible condition, often with sand and no grass. I paid $50 on a Sunday which is not a problem for a longer course in good condition. I would come back for lower green fees knowng that I would use driver and short iron all day and leave my mid irons at home.
Should have read the most recent reviews.
Not sure how this course has 3 start average. However, when I arrange the reviews by newest first, it became clear this course has recently taken a noise dive. The last who checked me on was pleasant. That is all that can be said positive about this Ciara course. From no bathrooms, no marshal to help with pacing, no bathrooms available to the public, sand for tee boxes, completel overgrowth on the edge of the course, to no one to accept my cart when I said enough is enough. It is as if the course owner decided to close down the course but forgot to put the out of business sign up.
