Please Hire a greens keeper.
Let’s start with some water. There is no reason that a course irrigated by reclaimed waste water should ever be brown dead and full of dusty dirt especially when it plays thru a gated community. Please hire someone who will bring this course back to life. It really was fun playing but course conditions were terrible. I do have to say that the greens weren’t too bad most were in good to great conditions.
Rough shape
Course was in rough shape, tee boxes rarely had grass just sand, fairways are rough and greens weren’t in good shape, for the price they charge I’d recommend playing elsewhere.
Not worth it
Kart broke down, the sand on the tee was better than the sand in the bunker, I’m not sure there was a green spot on the course, my buddy got hit with a golf ball in the crotch( that was funny). Honestly I was super disappointed and ended up getting my money back. I took they actually take care of this place I will not be returning.
Overpriced and extremely short
Played this course for the first time without properly researching. The course is extremely short, so I rarely had more than a PW or 9 iron into the green. Challenging because of water and creek, narrow fairways which is cool. Tee boxes were in terrible condition, often with sand and no grass. I paid $50 on a Sunday which is not a problem for a longer course in good condition. I would come back for lower green fees knowng that I would use driver and short iron all day and leave my mid irons at home.
Should have read the most recent reviews.
Not sure how this course has 3 start average. However, when I arrange the reviews by newest first, it became clear this course has recently taken a noise dive. The last who checked me on was pleasant. That is all that can be said positive about this Ciara course. From no bathrooms, no marshal to help with pacing, no bathrooms available to the public, sand for tee boxes, completel overgrowth on the edge of the course, to no one to accept my cart when I said enough is enough. It is as if the course owner decided to close down the course but forgot to put the out of business sign up.
Dog track
Worst kept course I ever played. Guy in pro shop insinuated I should leave a tip when paying for my round
Solid course
Fairway not the best due to the area but course is sweet, and couldn’t ask for much more
Probably used to be a nice course but… yikes
Pulling up to the course you can see how brown/yellow it is but it is January so I was willing to cut some slack there. Inside a gated community and the houses were not extremely old so the layout was relatively modern but man, ownership or management must have changed hands because they have let this course become a huge dump. Fairways and greens were a huge mess full of repair areas and dead spots, multiple tee boxes that were just completely bare of grass.
When I got to the course the tiny parking lot they have was completely full so you have to find parking on the street next to a fairway on either side and just hope you picked a safe spot to not get your car hit haha.
At check in was informed there is no driving range but a small net you can hit into, also the clubhouse did not even have a working bathroom “but there are some on the course…” being as I checked in 45 min early, I was on my own to find a bathroom. Also on that note, the friend I was playing with did eventually use on (after hole 5) and he said it was one of the most disgusting bathrooms of all time because the toilet was completely full to the top with…well stuff that goes in the toilet…
There’s honestly areas of this course that just look completely abandoned. Shame too because the layout has potential but, wow. No need to check this one out if you haven’t.
Horrible customer service
I convinced my friends to golf with me. It was 4 of us two women and two men. When we arrived we were told that the bathrooms were being worked on and that the restrooms were available on the front and back nine.
Also that the grill isn’t permanently closed.
They lied one bathroom had caution tape and it was overflowing with feces and urine.
We informed the staff when we came back around then he told us that there was another restroom by hole 14, the bathroom was boarded up and not available.
This is inhumane and big problem should osha be informed.
We paid $50 dollars a player and green was in horrible condition there was so much weed and high grass that it made it impossible to find our balls.
We would like a refund and you should really close the course and not allow the facility to open until you have usable bathrooms for women and better conditions and a professional staff.
It’s unfortunate that they let the course get so bad and I was shocked to also see 6 players ahead of us and that they allowed it.
