About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Solid course!
Played this course for the first time and I was very impressed with the course! Offers all different types of play with shot shaping, distance, fast greens and narrow fairways at times to really test all parts of my game. the hole 8 island green par 3 is just visually impressive and fun to play. Hole 12 par 3 was my favorite though! (because I got a hole in one! 😂). Was a fun play all around and can’t wait to go back!
RedHawk is a Fun one
A great summer time course. Great condition and if you can play in the heat you can play fast. Friendly staff nice bartenders. Could use a sand bunker and grass driving range for better warm up facility. Check golf now for the hot deals.
Sunday afternoon
We started at 12:30 and had no one in front or behind until we were on the back 9. Great conditions that day . Fairways and greens are doing well. But the sand traps were too compacted on a few holes. We will go back again.
Nice Test of My Golf Game
I haven’t played RedHawk in quite a long time, but only because it is a bit away from my home. The course was in very good shape even though we played in the midst of a heat wave. Course knowledge will be key to scoring on this course. I used my golf gps app , and it helped tremendously. There is some target golf and some wide open holes. Greens hold well, and the greens are fair and not extremely fast. Just a very good pace. I would recommend and staff is very friendly and helpful. We’ll need to go back. A very enjoyable layout!
Great course
Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Course is beautiful and has an appropriately challenging design for all levels of players.
golf cart new policy
THEY JUST CHANGED THEIR CART POLICY: NO MORE SINGLES IN A CART!!!
IN MY 50+ YEARS OF GOLFING, I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS RULE. I DON'T WANT TO SIT NEXT TO SOMEONE I DON'T KNOW, AND MORE IMPORT, I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THEIR HEALTH. THEY COULD HAVE A COMMUNICABLE DISEASE! ps: if you want your own cart, you have to pay extra for it !!!!!

Fair course
Red Hawk is a fair course. If i did not play my usual double bogey golf I could of scored really well. But I'm me so there's that. But fun course! Will definitely make it back there!
RedHawk rocks!!
Course is in good shape! Greens were consistent. Staff was friendly!!! A little warm, 11 o’clock tee time, but found plenty of shade trees for cover.
