About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Great Summer conditions
Redhawk's greens are still the course's best feature, but the rest of the course is weathering the Summer heat better than other courses in the area. Afternoon pace is always good here, but you won't find many golfers playing in the heat and wind from noon to 4 here. Good course for A Hot Deal.

Great experience even in the heat. I’ll definitely be back for an earlier tee time. Challenging greens that I have to play again!!
Pace of play
4 1/2 hour round
You need someone watching the pace of play.
We were backed up two foursomes on most tees, because of two oriental women ahead of us. We asked if we could play through, and they said they would speed up their pace, but they never did. This is the second time this happened to me at this course. I don’t know what can be done about it, though. I play here because it’s convenient to my house. Time to travel a little longer for a better experience…

Loved it!!
This was my first time playing here and I was not disappointed by any means.... It held it's value for the price of the green fee's. The course was in great shape. The greens and fairways were some of the best I played in a while so I was very happy with that if anything maybe a little over saturated but they were green and playable so not complaining. The signs were very detailed so your not getting lost on this beautiful course. The par 3's were awesome especially #8. This is a top notch course for the Temecula valley and I can't wait to play here again. The 19th hole was delicious and highly recommended for a bite to eat before heading on your way.
Awesome course
First time playing here. Course was in good condition. Greens were very good but a bit tough due to tiers. But just a great course all in all. No way you could get lost because the sign placements for next tee boxes helped out a bunch. Definitely coming back soon.
Super fun
Course conditions are great. Very cool vibe. Best bang for your buck by far in the area. Wish I golfed here sooner.
Golfing on the west coast
So glad we decided to golf Red Hawk. Coming here from Florida and very flat conditions seeing a different type of course was a lot of fun. Tee boxes a little rough, fairways were in good shape and greens were great. Will definitely play there again on future trips.
Nicest I’ve played so far!
I’m new to golf, so I’ve only played a half dozen courses so far, but this was by far the best. Staff was accommodating to my dumb questions and then the course itself was beautiful. Great conditions all the way through. Will probably make this my go to course moving forward.
