About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Good shap
The greens are in great condition. The fairways and tee boxes were above average. The sand traps are well maintained and that was nice.
Great place for a round of golf
Course is great. Pro shop needs work. Not a lot of product. Same holds true the food and beverages.
Definitely coming back
First time playing Redhawk and I have to say, I’m sorry I haven’t been here sooner. This was a great course to play! Technical enough that it presented a challenge but not so difficult that it was frustrating for an average player like myself. Fairways, tee boxes, and greens were all in pretty decent shape. Could have been better, definitely seen worse. Golf shop staff didn’t seem to be too enthused to be there. But with such limited interaction I guess that doesn’t matter too much. That being said, I will definitely be playing here again
Best golf course for the money!
Fairways & greens are in great shape. Some sand-traps lacks sand & just hard dirt. The staff is great. And most important, its the best golf course for the amount of money I paid for after 12pm tee time.
5+ hour round
Absolute slowest pace of play round of golf I’ve played in a decade…no marshal the entire day!
Great course and excellent facilities
The clubhouse, bar and grill are excellent at Red Hawk. Great food, beers, mixed drinks and soft drinks. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Nice course layout and challenging.
Rolling Hawk
This course is deceiving. The layout is fun, inviting, and the fairways are mostly soft and easy to launch from, but the greens . . if you don't get it on and you can't control the chip up, the waves will push your score off the chart. Most every green is tiered --2-3 waves and the pin placement can be downright evil! If you are a regular at this course, you can dial this in, but if your new, just sit back and don't get upset --Enjoy Redhawk for the layout, the fairways and greens' surface. A few traps need some draining and love, but most looked playable. I'll be back!
great value.
For years I heard how great this course was from my friends. Maybe my expectations were a little too high. Overall it is a good course and good value but the tierd greens are brutal. Look forward to playing it again this summer.
