I would like a refund, this course is in horrific condition. We drove an hour and a half to get here after calling ahead of time to confirm that the course was in great condition. The golf shop told me over the phone it was before I booked it. We left after a few holes and with no refund from the shop. They weren’t exactly extremely helpful either. I asked if the head pro is there any assistant pro had to check in the other room to see if he was. But he was just hiding out in the back room?

I haven’t played this course in a while. It’s a nice course and is usually more lush. For some reason (maybe frost) all the fairways were brown. Given the course conditions I feel it wasn’t worth the $80.

The layout of the course is great, but the players don't repair their ball Mark's and it makes the round frustrating. The other challenge is distance marker. There is a 150 yard marker on most holes but not all. You need a range finder or app to know your distance.

My grandson and I golfed every Wednesday. They dropped SCGA which allowed my grandson to play 9 holes for $5.00. I think it’s a shame that they don’t believe in youth golfing. I am retired and I can’t afford paying their prices. For both of us to golf. I think that their management has gotten money crazy when they don’t allow up and coming golfers to get a break on golf. I spent a lot of money every week and had my family eat there as well. I am glad that the Legends honor SCGA. They also give a larger bucket of balls for only $2.00 to the youth. Redhawk Use to charge $2.00 for a small bucket for the youths. Then they raised it $3.00 January 2020. Now they charge $5.00. It’s redicious. The legends basket of balls is much larger than RedHawks. I hope they are happy. They lost my business.

Anyone that has young golfers I suggest that they boycott Redhawk and go to the legends which is Temeku.

The fairways were bare, dead, & water ruined. No good spot to hit from. The greens are worst condition I have seen. Lots of dead spots on the greens.

Pace of play was slow. We waited on very hole.

Was in hurry to play this course, and arrived late... Left two, almost brand new clubs at the driving range, but the staff found them, held them, and I was able to get them for the back nine. Extremely thankful for the customer service at the course. The course itself, always challenging, has much of the fairway in dormant status with thin lies. Layout is great, and the course and the staff, as always, trying to make it as enjoyable as they can. They are adding white sand to the bunkers and the layout, as always fantastic... Can't wait to play when all the changes are done. Always a fun course to play. Just need the overseeding to be done and better weather.

This course has always been a fun track and challenging. In years past, it was also typically in great shape, although can get sloppy after rain as it does not drain great. One thing is that the greens were always in good shape and tough. The course currently is probably in the worst shape I've ever seen it. The fairways are browning out, which is not an issue, at least there is still grass to hit from. The tee boxes and the greens however are in horrible shape! It was like putting on the surface of the moon on some greens. And what I could not figure out was why they had cut some of the holes on the absolute worse part of the green??? Not every green was this way, but well over 50% of them. It really detracts from the round! I stated I wouldn't recommend, but that is only under current conditions. In the past, I would recommend in a heart beat.

Upon arrival we found our 10 am tee time pushed back a full hour, practice limited to irons only and fairways brown and lifeless. Just like hitting off soft dirt. Greens that in most instances had disease issues with the ball jumping from patch to patch. This is a great course in spring summer and fall. Someone dropped the ball this winter.

Kind of feel like it's a money grab. Priced on location not on condition of the course. You read the reviews and they say they are working on it. But when you've played the course a lot you can see it's not taking place. Take in what we can and put as little as we can back in.

Though late in the season, but then again, not that late by CA standards, the course was OK. I am a long time resident of San Diego and played Redhawk when they first opened in the mid 90s. The course now has gone down a bit since its opening. The greens are usually in really good shape, the fairways were ok, some wet and some dry and some patchy. Overall, still a decent track to play when the course is in good shape.

The fairways were not that great of shape in 50% of the greens were very poore

All the greens seemed to be infected. Fairways are what you expect in the winter. They have a 2 day tourney this weekend so I don’t anticipate things will get better any time soon. Course used to always ways be in great shape year round. Not sure what’s changed... I don’t understand how they can charge $75 for infected greens when you can drive less then 5 miles away and play 3 to 4 other courses in better shape and $20 to $40 cheaper smh

Paid $75 on the weekend for greens with dirt patches all over them. At least half of the greens had multiple areas of dirt patches you had to putt through which is a total rip off, especially considering we drove out from OC. Fairways were fine, winter brown which is no problem, and the rough was decent too (if you could find your ball in the leaves that maintenance hasn’t attempted to pick up). Only my second time playing here, but you can tell this place is a shell of its former self. Will only be coming back if it’s our only option.

Greens were in bad shape. Fairways were nice. Won’t recommend until they get their greens into decent shape.
