Mission Trails Golf Course

5 and a half hour round. Waited every tee box starting on the third hole even though we teeed off late since two of our foursome showed up late. When we spoke to the Marshall about speeding pace of play up he said that the course was moving at a steady pace. When I spoke with him again he went ahead and must have finally spoken with the slower groups ahead because things did speed up a little bit. Saw numerous players ending their rounds early. At one point there were four groups waiting on the tee box while we waited on the groups ahead of us.

By far the slowest round I've ever played. Marshals did nothing to speed up pace of play. Course was overbooked. Regularly waited 10 minutes on the tee box.

Pre-paid through GolfNow for a round with a cart. The staff tells me that the GM told him not to issue carts and since I “unfortunately (his words) booked through GolfNow, I would have to email the GM to get my money back.”

Mission Trails knew long before they posted the tee time on GolfNow that bad weather was coming.

I have bad knees and there’s no way I could walk the hilly course.

Terrible customer service.

I'm 74 I've played golf over 60 years. This is the worst course I've ever played. Horrendous conditions, bad attitude of pro shop especially when I entered and they told me I was not on the tissue and then I pointed it out to them and the guy was super nasty, Greens were fine rest of the course look like a cow pasture. As a dedicated golfer as many are this course is an embarrassment and personally I think should be shut down. What a bad experience and the worste day on the golf course

Haven't been here in a few years and was surprised by the condition. Great playing time. Not torrey pines but still a very nicely managed course.

Staff was super nice. Greens in great shape. Fairways were fair to poor. Took 4 hours and 40 minutes.

Golfed 11am Saturday. Course was fine. The 2nd hole tee box (?) had its protective net removed blocking the Par 3 hole tee shots. Nothing cane our way, but maybe put it back up for psychological purposes.

Big shout-out to Emily, the Beverages Cart Expert. She was very present throughout the round, so we very much appreciated that. Usually, the Beverage Cart stops by maybe twice, but Emily was there several times during our outing. We didnt need to order most of the time, but it was great seeing her at least in the area in case we did.

Course was in decent shape. Tee boxes could use some care and a few dirt spots here and there. But great pace of play and a few challenging holes that makes this course worthwhile (especially hot deals).

Not offering a solo cart and making you play with randoms is wild … explaining nothing can be done while 2 solo riders are actually turning in carts in sight … it’s not a new rule just a poverty course forcing ridiculous rules to save Pennie’s

The course is a dog track with decent greens trying to charge $80
