Mission Trails Golf Course

Having played Trails for decades but only about twice a year, I never know what to expect on each visit. This time was a really good experience. Not only did we play in 3 hours, 45 minutes in the middle of a weekday with walkers in front of us! (Maybe we just got really lucky) but ALL of the greens were in excellent condition and rolled consistently. Not sure that I’ve see all 18 so uniform. At least not in a long time. Fairways were patchy as always but nothing too bad. Just a really enjoyable experience and good to see the course being kept up well. For the price, don’t think you can beat it.

Good looking greens and not too bad fairways. A little tough with the pace but it worked this day.

I was disappointed that golf now did not offer the senior rate to play this course.

They definitely need to either space golfers out or have Marshalls that can move slower players along. We waited on every shot for all 18 holes.

Played this course off ,& on for years. Even though it is a Holiday week they seem less concerned about the pace of play. Today it was 5hrs +. They just keep sending more golfers out to satisfy completed tee times. A couple of Marshall's could help greatly. We waited on every hole today and was able to see gaps between groups and some open holes.

Quit after 11 holes. Course allowed 6sum and everyone behind them waited on every hole. Local name for this course is Mission Snails but this was the worse.

Great place to work on a few things. In decent shape. Pace of play wasn’t the greatest but still a good round. I’ll play there again.

Lady in the pro shop is very rude.pace of play is almost unbearable.great greens.

I was not aware that the greens had been recently punched. Never saw on Golf Now website or mentioned by the guy who checked us in. The slow play was probably the reason I would think twice about playing there again.

I have played mission trails golf course probably over 50 times throughout the years and last weekend was by far the slowest round I have ever played there. It took us 5 hours and 45 minutes to complete our round with is totally unacceptable. We saw the course marshal once and the only reason he was out there was to keep us from driving on the fairway, not speed up the pace of play. I have been playing Mission Trails less and less lately and because of this now it will be a very long time before I return if ever. I do not recommend Mission Trails if you have any plans after golfing because you will be late for them.

No notification that the course was being punched and the back 9 being played twice. Golf now did not notify me nor the course till I checked in. Very disappointed in the fairway condition only the greens were really playable. I don’t think I will be back!

This is the second time I played the course where it took ALMOST 6 HOURS to play. I do like the track, but I just cannot take that much time to play golf. Sorry but if I am not playing early morning weekday golf, this course is probably not my cup of tea.

This course has the promise to be a hidden gem. However, the fairways are horrible on most holes and the greens are fair. The dress code is not enforced so you get hackers in jeans that bring a 12 pack of beer and spray the ball all over the place. The marshals are great for clearing aluminum cans but do nothing for pace of play. They need to limit tee times by one or two less an hour, push the 4th hole white tee box back with the blues to help. The logo for the course is a snail so pack a lunch if you play here and maybe dinner.
