Mission Trails Golf Course

Nice course, pleasant people work and play golf there.

I had fun and the pace was great as was the staff.

Course is slowly becoming one of my favorites. The course conditions aren’t 5 star but the greens make up for it. Some fairways are being worked on right now which is exciting to see. Played early AM to avoid the common overbooking here. Let’s just say it was the first time in a long time this place has been true to my tee time. Some rough/ dry spots on fairways but nothing major. Fun/challenging course. Every hole is different.

Consider not enough rain in Cali. The course is nice enough :)

The pace of play was slow due to the management letting two fivesomes play in front of our group. The greens are in really good shape, however the fairways have many barren spots and overall need attention.

The staff is very friendly and overall was an Ok golf day.

I have been frequenting Mission Trains since I started playing back in 2014. This was the first time I had been back in over a year however. It was nice to see an upgraded food truck for lunch and the driving range stalls were in great shape. This course can be very challenging on the back 9 with elevation changes and some blind tee shots. This course did not live up to the "Mission Snails" name on this day and the course played very well despite it being windy and rainy for a majority of the round. Cant blame my 87 on anything other then my miss hits and failed pitch shots. Greens rolled very well all be it a little sticky probably due to it being over cast.

As always the staff was great, the two-some I was paired with made the round even more enjoyable. I always recommend this course to friends if they have around 5hrs to dedicate to a round as it can get backed up a little bit on the weekends, but hey, that's a result of it being a great and challenging course.

The course was a little dry in spots, but the ball rolled a lot farther. Greens were in great shape. It was a fun time. I shot a 96 for 18 from the white tees and that is pretty good for an 87 year old guy.

This is the weakest course in all of San Diego county. Save your money and save your time (6 hours).

I have played this course for years and this is the worst condition I've ever seen. Fairway were dry with dirt spots Sandtrap's your hard and there was no beverage service.

Fairways are 60% dirt. Greens are like hitting a ball into a slow mushy mess. Pace of play is the worst in the county and always is. If you have a spare 5 1/2 to 6 hours and want to hit off dirt lies into horribly maintained greens this is your place!

Played Mission Trails today and was very disappointed in the fairways. Not sure what is going on but almost every fairway was nothing but dry grass or just large patches of dirt. To make playing even more time consuming many of holes were cart path only, not sure way. The tee boxes where bare, hardly any grass. But I must say that the green were in were in good shape very few dry or brown patches.

Greens were recovering from being punched, otherwise the course was in good condition. There has always been a lot of crab grass on this course.

Don’t know what happened here but the pace of play is much improved. Even tho we waited on a few holes we were still able to finish our round in just under 4 hours. This course is always an adventure and the surrounding views are great.

My wife and are are Canadians and we spend 3-4 a year in the United States .

We go to different locations . Currently in San Diego . Next month Phoenix .

We started right on time we play the first 8 holes dri after finishing the 9 hole we went to the 19 hole the rain just come out n hard after about 15 muinute we went back to re play the front 9 we could play the back 9 because the túnel was floored but that did not stop us to finish 18 holes the staff and the. People playing were the best we all have a a great time no matter the rain
