this course has some great views of thelakes from the back nine
I like this course because it is well maintained and plays well without losing too many balls. The back nine is my favorite with the lake views and the cool breeze along with some challenging holes.ill be back soon. Also has a very nice 19th hole and the food and drinks are very reasonable.
Great 'tournament style' course
Nice tournament style course with open fairways for the most part and challenging holes. A creek runs through most holes which you need to be aware of and some holes have blind shots so it pays to know the course. The greens were recently punched as of this posting so they are in pretty good shape right now.
Great service
Best deal in east county. More challenging back 9. Never difficult to get a tee time. Great service
Value
After reading a handful of reviews on Mission Trails from yelp, I was a bit nervous about booking here. However, during my round, I kept wondering what people were complaining about. It was fun! The grill has fantastic burgers, and the threesome I was a part of played in four hours. I guess the complaints came from weekend golfers. But I'd like to ask them if they've played a round on the weekend somewhere else that wasn't "too slow"?
Improving
My brother in law and I played on Friday, and the course has come along way from a year ago. The fairways were nicely cut and the greens were 99% better than a year ago. We have friends come visit and we always play this course, mainly because of the staff, but now it will be for both staff and the course! My wife and son are wanting to learn to play golf so we can do something as a family, and what a great place to spend an afternoon with family, great views, great staff, and reasonable prices!

Good course
There was a nice pace, the weather was good as always.
OK
This course is ok. Overall it is in decent shape and provides some challenges though most of it is due to the drainage ditch that runs through the front nine. The back nine is decidedly more scenic. You wont hit your driver much on the front 9. Overall I like this course but have a hard time making myself go to it for two reasons. The first is the pace of play always seems to be very, very slow. The second is both times I have rented a cart as a single they have made me join the cart of a random single I was paired up with which is pretty awkward and I have never experienced before. Apparently they don't have enough carts but they say it is because you have only paid for half a cart so they make you do it. I am not sure which is a worse/better reason. I guess the point is don't come here as a single or if you don't have 5 hours. Other than that it is a decent course.
Worth the money
Not the best course by any means but if you get a good deal it's worth the money! Play is typically slow because they try and get a bunch of people in during the morning hours but play speeds up on the back 9.
Can be tricky
Very slow on the front nine as always. The back is a better pace.
The fairways are good shape considering the heat. The greens were outstanding, beautiful and rolled true.
Target golf on some holes, course can fool you thinking it's easier than it is. Great day
Good course
Overall it was a great course for the price. the greens were well maintained.
Nice muni
Okay public course. Really bad pace. Beginners in front of us that had no idea about how to be ready. Waited for par 4 green to clear to hit.
mission trails
Course has improved considerably since playing there a year or so ago. Greens were in great shape.
Fun course
Saturday Outing
Paired up with another twosome, my partner and I enjoyed a great weekend afternoon out on the golf course. We teed off at our reserved time and all in all, Mission Trails is in good to average shape with green conditions being the most likable part. Pace of play was good enough to get us off the course and home in at a reasonable time and because of that I wouldn't hesitate to play Mission Trails again in the near future.
Decent Course, but great for the money!
Short course, but getting a HOT DEAL on GolfNow for only $15 is a steal! Playing a hole less than a dollar is worth it anywhere. Mission Trails has good greens where you can get true rolls. The rough is kind of eaten up, but if you hit fairway it has a decent grass. Quick round as well with the pace of play. The only waiting that you have is on the 17th hole. For some reason it always gets backed up on the 17th. In another life I would live in the apartment right above the course so I can just walk-on for cheap. Good practice course/beginner course. Fun to just hit the ball around with a couple of beers. Enjoy
A Great Bang For Your Buck.
Weather was a little hot during our round. (Tee time was 1:00pm it was 90 degrees). The pace of the round was never an issue. My friend and I got paired up with two gentleman that play the course a few times a month and they we an absolute pleasure to play with. The course isn't in the greatest of conditions but to play 18 holes with a cart for $25 bucks it doesn't get any better. Great for amateur golfers.
Great Course for the Money
This course is great for the money. I played for 30 bucks but you can play for as little as 25 and 15 depending on how late you go. Definitely worth checking out
Almost always slow
The slowest round I've had in a long time. Tee off at 10:45a and finished at about 4:45p. It felt like I was at the golf course ALL DAY, which I practically was. I've had numerous rounds here that have been long or I just left without finishing. It seems like the double or triple book ever tee time. You will always be able to find a tee time of your choice on golfnow here, but u better bring a book to read also unfortunately.
A fun course but not too challenging.
The course is short, 6000yds from the blue tee. Some par 3's are a bit long though. The course is forgiving as you'll be ok even if you miss most of the fairways. You'll just need a 3-wood for most holes. Course condition was good. This is a course to play if you just want a relaxing round. And with a good deal from GolfNow, it was a good value for the money.
Quite different course..
Great price for this course through Golfnow.com Greens are quite nice, Fairways could be better. For the price no complaints...
Nice variety
Played poorly but not the courses fault. Still had a good time and will return.
