some easy, some tough holes nice array and the very friendliest staff

Only my third time at this course....these greens were awesome! Someone has been paying attention....very good value for the price and the course sets up nicely.
A great day overall.

I received a twilight rate at 12:20 and had no trouble finishing 18 holes. The course was in great winter condition. I would plat there again.

Teed off at 1 pm but unable to finish our round. pace of play slow, with no marshaling. course condition was okay, greens pretty good shape considering the amount of play.

Played the course early on a Friday morning. Staff was very friendly, and price is exceedingly friendly. It was a little chilly, and would have been nice to have a windshield on the cart, but not an option. Front 9 is fairly wide open, but concrete drainage ditches run through the middle of several fairways, sometimes right in landing areas. Understand the need for the drainage, but could have been much better planned. Back nine runs toward Lake Murray. It doesn't have the drainage issue, and was better. Lots of elevation changes. Greens were in excellent condition. Fairways and rough were in bad shape.

We played though lite rain and the cold but was a great time. Big course 13&14 are tough. But really love this course

Took my boys out to play this course. Had a great time. Only issue was the pace of play, it was understandably slow because of the holiday break. Staff was great and the condition of the course was excellent.

Good course with varying terrain and nice views. A lot of hacks on the course in the afternoon so serious golfers should tee off in the morning or run the risk of getting behind a bunch of drinking golfers writing "8" on their card when it should be a 12.

Good Course to Practice Putting the Greens Demand a good Put on Every Hole..

Great course. Condtion and facilty are great. I heard it can get packed after 9am on the weekend. Teed off early sat morning. Wish they could extend the sunday special. :(

Course was build in like 1963 and obviously shows it age a little. City owned, but in good shape and fun to play. Not everything was perfect, but fairways are green, greens were running true, and layout has some challenging holes. Price was great, staff was fabulous, and played with 3 guys I met who were fun. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to have a nice day of playing golf and enjoying the always nice SD weather.

You can't beat this place for a $40 weekend round, but that does bring out some hackers and they will accept 5-some, so beware. I played in a 3some and it took us 5 hours to get around.

All-in-all it's a great track that is a little shorter in length but requires some accurate ball striking and shot strategy to really score well. Decent elevation changes and varied hole layouts make this course anything but boring.

I'll be playing here again.

Driving range could use some improvements, higher fence so balls don't end up on the first hole fareway.

Decent course with marginal condition fairways. Greens are in good condition, with some severe undulations on some holes.

I read a review about the slow play, although I'm retired and play early during the week & the course is as fast as you make it. The staff has always treated me well on and off the course!

I'd not yet played this course, and decided that it would be a good time to go play. When I arrived at the course, I found that there was another foursome that had the same exact tee-time. We got the go-ahead to tee off first, but there was another group in front of us which had not yet teed off, even though it was time for us to tee off. There were at least 3 foursomes at the starter. On most holes, we had a wait for the group in front of us. This meant that the group behind us was waiting on us, and so on. We got done with hole 15 and probably should have called it a day, since it was getting dark. The whole round took close to 5 hours -- simply due to how many people were playing. It should have taken closer to 4 hours, had there been an appropriate number of players.

Some of the course was in fantastic shape, some was pretty bad. Many of the greens were super bumpy. First hole is right next to the range, and had about 100 range balls in the fairway, making finding your ball very challenging.

Greens punch last week I would guess they were fuzzy with growth and bumpy. Scored well with some easy birdies especially 4th. Driving the green just missing eagle putt. Started as a twosome and finished front nine in one and half. A single joined on back because of back up on first which slow things down. Overall a fun course to play, just need to know where to hit fairways but true with any course . I seem to score well on this par 71 course probably with wide fairways lol

Phone the course and make your own arrangements. Golfnow charged the same fee that we would have paid at the course and charged $4.90 for getting the "deal" which was no deal! It was not a great course and I would not pay more than $40 to play there during their primetime.

Nice wide fairways. Good for my level of play. Yet challenging slopes and obstacles.

Everyone was helpful friendly. Ladies restroom on 12 th hole filthy but rest of course was great. Had good time. Will be returning.
