Coyote Hills Golf Course

Like the course, have played there for years. Greens are. Ice but need to make sure players repair divots. Fairways need maintenance. All that is overall fine. But pace of play needs to be picked up!

I payed $50 to play, now for that price I’ll play again, but for the $100-$130 they want all the time it is not worth it. Fairways are painted green, tee boxes were awful, and greens were soft and soggy. Got paired up with 3 others and two guys did not want to play with me and the other single so pretty much the whole day was waiting for the foursome in front of us. Round at 11:30am was 4:30hrs long. Not to bad. Avoid this place if your paying top price. You will thank me.

Course layout is excellent. Conditions are very good with great greens. Great course overall

Very thin fairways, not narrow, it was like hitting of packed dirt. Nor real rough, just weeds!

Course was great but pace of place was atrocious especially on the back nine for a Tuesday.

We go stuck behind a group of 6 players which slowed things way down. No marshal in sight

I don’t normally review golf courses, but felt the need for this one. I’m just getting done with my round, teed off at 12:45pm and barely got 14 holes in. I’ve been looking for other courses in Orange County that don’t take 5-6 hours to play 18. This was my first and last attempt here. Granted, it does get dark at 5, but I thought I’d get at least 16 or 17 in…wishful thinking. Course is in okay condition, but groups are stacked on top of each other. Waited every shot. Average golfers thinking they should play from the Tips, then searching 15 minutes for their drives 150 yards in the woods. Marshall came by a couple times, just to confirm the stackage…nothing else. Little weiney in the golf shop said the course was backed up 20 minutes when I let him know how slow it was…definitely living on a different planet and had zero compassion, even for a first time player. For how much they charge (over $70 at this time slot), you’re better served taking your business elsewhere, this place is a joke.

Course was in pretty good condition for this time of year. Pace of play was great and we were off in just over 4 hours. It’s a little pricey, but worth giving it a try!

Group(s) ahead of us joined up to be 7 or 8 players and slowed the pace of play. No marshal to supervise.

The bunkers need a little more sand, especially #1 (left side).

Groups of 5 to squeeze more money, rushed to the first tee by the starter, they took a decent design and did minimal maintenance, overwatered greens softer than cookie dough. Never going back.
