Coyote Hills Golf Course

Just didn’t feel worth $75, no marshal around to keep pace of play, course was in substandard shape, worst I’ve seen there. Had 2 staff members either drove by tee box or along fairway while I prepared to tee off. Was disappointed with it today

We were a little surprised that with the morning rain, and all the rain we've had this winter, that the course was not cart path only on this day. Marshal was a little surprised as well. Some holes was not a big deal, but other were mushy, and with the carts on the fairways, was looking more like on off road track and not a golf course. Was really rutting up some of the fairways. Not good for a course that was not in the best of condition to begin with. Still, for the $55 we paid, was a fair deal and would play again. Is a fun layout with some scenic views and a fair challenging course.

This course is tremendous! It is a beautiful Payne Stewart designed course that can be fairly difficult. There are big elevation changes with many downhill shots so I don't think it plays as long as the numbers indicate. It's a lot of fun to play but if you spray the ball, you better bring a lot of balls and a good attitude. Very few times are you able to play from an adjacent hole. I also doubt you'll want to walk here. Greens were in wonderful condition and very challenging. Getting on in regulation will feel like a victory then you'll be faced with some pretty tough putts. It played about 7 strokes harder for me.Definitely play it-you won't be disappointed!

Teed off at 6:40am. Pop was great at 3.5 hours. Always good to play with son when in calif. I recommend this course to anyone who loves a challenge and views are amazing. Thanks for great time.

I enjoyed playing coyote hills. Course it tight with lots of elevation changes. The greens needed attention, bumpy. A good test, I enjoyed it.

For a round of golf during my vacation from the cold of the northeast, this course was a disappointment due to pace of play. It was a Monday and the course had two outings that they did a very poor job of policing. This cost everyone who came a huge loss of valuable time. 5 and a half hours later, I was just glad to be done. The scenic views from this course was the only saving grace of this round.

This course has been on my bucket list for a while. Got a great deal to play and jumped on the opportunity. While this course is beautiful for an inner city course it also gets its fair share of abuse. The greens were next to impossible to get a feel for from the foot traffic they received from the holiday weekend. At least that's what I'll chalk it up to. Also, one of the par fives was cut down to temporary green. I did not see a sign anywhere prior to this which would have been nice.

All that being said, I would play here again if the conditions were improved. Also, the staff was very friendly.

Ut was a nice course, great people, good service.. overall it is the best course I have played in LA

Unfortunately I had to stop playing after 6 holes as 3 other flights were waiting at hole 7 due to a tournament ahead of them. Since we had already almost 2 hours for 6 holes I had to finish as I had to catch a plan to return to Europe.. I asked the Marshal, the starter and the staff in the Golf Shop for a refund and I was very pleased that they understood my issue and fully refunded the greenfee which was much better than expected. All staff members are super friendly and helpful, the starter is even a funny guy making jokes that I did not understand... but overall, really nice people. I have played lots of rounds in the USA, but this is the number 1 staff! I come back again but will book a T-Time with more care.

The course is fun and hilly with nice views and great elevated holes. Great fun for the average golfer. From the Golds its an advanced course

Always dependable course. Small complaint about slow play, but it never changes. Overall a great time on a fun course. Recommended.
