Coyote Hills Golf Course

Backed up on the 7th. Took almost 4 hours to finish 9.

Course is extremely fun and greens are fast.

GPS on carts is a plus.

Cart girl came by once in 15 holes, but didn’t stop or ask if we needed anything, a beer would have made pace of play a little better.

Views of OC are pretty cool.

Recommend playing weekdays or early morning, very cool layout.

And I am happy with the course every single time the staff in the course are always Top Notch I recommend this course to anybody and everybody

*********Minus 1 STAR****** Very disappointing Coyote Hills!!! Horrible experience, teed off at 2:20pm with 7 guys, and didn't even get through hole 14.. Not only the golf was bad, but the 6.5hr pace of play which was out of this world. Biggest mistake was the manager David was not helpful in giving me a refund for a no-call no-show charge on a company policy that is completely bogus, the computer auto charged me due to their tee sheet saying the pairings were set up differently. Never playing here again!!! Once again, I would recommend anyone coming to North Orange Co go to Black Gold GC or even Anaheim Hills GC over coming to this place.

This a beautiful course, I don’t mind to pay full price, but if the course is having a tournament and the course will be super slow, they should lower the price a bit to compensate the player for the delay.

Delightfully pleased that on a Monday we did not follow a slow tournament. Pace was great and weather superb. Surprised that I got to finish 18 holes. Always enjoy a course with such a variety of layouts. Challenging but not long.

there seems big differences between blue and white

Play by myself join up second hole with a Asian woman played with her all day was 30 yards behind me all day. she was a good player and was very nice and fun to play with her name was Tracy.Would like to play with her again if I go to California again.

Booked a foursome through golfnow, our fourth had car problems and couldn't make it. The staff at counter said there might be a penalty charge of $20 because of the no show. I was upset because all my years golfing things have happened and 1 or 2 people can't make it. Never have I been charged.

Later that evening, I get an email from golfnow that the whole green fee was charged on my credit card by the request of coyote hills. I called golfnow and spoke to Michael. He was very understanding and said he would call the course to see if they would waive the charge. Michael called me back and said the manager was very short with him and said no. Since I did not cancel within the 24hr time frame they deserve the money. Michael even said from the tone of his voice even if I had cancelled 2 minutes after the 24hrs had started, he would have charged me. I would have understood if we all didn't show up and didn't call. But 1 out of 4? Should I have hired a helicopter to pick him up from the side of the road? geez.

I have golfed here for over 10 years with so many friends. I am really disappointed on how my situation was handled. Needless to say, I will never come back. I've spoken to all my golf groups and now everyone is scared to book here. If the purpose for them to make up lost revenue for cancelled tee times, I think its going to have a reverse affect.

Please everyone, beware when booking a tee time here.

Friendly customer service but slows down dramatically at the 7th hole. Will come again. Marshalls are friendly and very knowledgeable with advice on how to play certain holes. Great range that has lights so they are open late. Carts have gps and coolers attached. Narrow fairways bring extra balls

We made a reservation for 3 people on a Saturday morning. One guy got sick the night before and couldn't make it. Two of us showed up, informed them it would just be the two of us, and paid our fees. At no time did they mention they were going to charge me $80 for my friend who didn't show up. I just checked my bank account, and they charged me through Golfnow. If you're going to try and pull that, at least tell me to my face. No golf course is worth putting up with that kind of shadiness.

If you like hitting off elevated tree boxes to valleys below with pretty views this is the course for you. Good condition, challenging,

From the East Coast -- I didn't know what to expect, but the course was recommended to me by someone in the area. I found the course very unique -- and more challenging than the yardage led me to believe.

The scenic overlook of the area was amazing, and some of the elevation changes made the course very different from most of the courses I play.

I would highly recommend the course, and would love to play it again if i am in the area in the future. The course conditions were pretty good, greens were faster than they appeared and rolled pretty good even though they looked like they weren't fully recovered from aeration.

Even with the working oil rigs entwined with the course, the areas were well taken care of, fairways in great shape, and the course aesthetics were with great care in the landscaping.

Recommend playing coyote hills at noon because the members pack the course starting 1pm. The course is in great shape and the staff are accommodating and friendly.

Food and drink options in the bar could be significantly improved.

Finally got back to play Coyote Hills, was impressed with the Staff at the Golf Shop, Driving Range, and the Turn. The course is tough with blond shots, but a real treat with its beauty and very good putting greens. This is not a long course, and you best leave the driver @ home, and bring your short game.

Best value in Orange County! Pace of play for a Sunday afternoon was great. Got done in 4.5 hours with no waiting. Greens were firm and fast. I just wish people fixed their ball marks on some spots. Played the blacks and took on the challenge. Will keep playing here for years to come.
