The Boulder Course at Cimarron Golf Resort is renowned for its outstanding course conditions and breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains. With multiple tees and yardages available, the Boulder Course presents a challenging yet accommodating layout for players. From the Cimarron Tees, the course measures 6,747 yards, featuring a course rating of 72.0 and a slope of 124. Alongside the Championship Boulder Course, Cimarron Golf Resort also provides an executive par 55, called the Pebble Course, as well as excellent practice amenities that include a grass driving range, a short game area, and a putting green. Regardless of the season, Cimarron Golf Resort is a destination that should not be missed while in Palm Springs.

No Carts = Slow Play
I arrived 25 minutes prior to my tee time and was informed by the cart attendant that it would be 20 - 25 minutes after my scheduled tee time before a cart would be available. Tee time was scheduled at 1:35 with expectations of being able to get in 18 before dark. We didn't actually tee off until 2:15 and them the course was totally stacked up with multiple groups waiting in the tee boxes. I left the course after 9 holes which took 3 hours from the scheduled tee time. This is unacceptable on any course. I may or may not give the course a second chance to see if this was an anomaly.

Course in great shape cart waits much better
Great course and greens and fairways in top condition. The long waits to get a cart were not an issue. We walked up and got our cart in seconds . Play speed was good and didn't wait much to tee off. The views were great and the quality of the play was a real value with our Hot Deal. Hope to play again sooner than later.

Beautiful Mountain Views
Course in great shape. Greens fast and true. Good layout, challenging but not too tough. Mountains in background provide beautiful views.

Good course for beginners and intermediate golfers
The club house and golf course were appealing , large fairways not much water in play …hard to lose a ball :-)
However , rather slow pace , and less challenge than some other local courses for the same tee fee .
But we did like the overall experience !

Super Nice Track
Really in fantastic shape for the amount of play this course receives. Hats off to the grounds crew. Pace of play is definitely an issue & lack of cart fleet caused major delay. Would recommend playing this course
