The Boulder Course at Cimarron Golf Resort is renowned for its outstanding course conditions and breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains. With multiple tees and yardages available, the Boulder Course presents a challenging yet accommodating layout for players. From the Cimarron Tees, the course measures 6,747 yards, featuring a course rating of 72.0 and a slope of 124. Alongside the Championship Boulder Course, Cimarron Golf Resort also provides an executive par 55, called the Pebble Course, as well as excellent practice amenities that include a grass driving range, a short game area, and a putting green. Regardless of the season, Cimarron Golf Resort is a destination that should not be missed while in Palm Springs.

Second time around
This was the second time this week that we played Cimarron. Once again in good condition; pace of play was great and the course was in fine shape.
Very nice and comfortable course to play.

Good Public Course Worth Playing
If you are looking for a fancy course with a beautiful clubhouse this isn't the place. But if you want to play a good golf course, in good condition with very good greens, then tee it up here. The layout is very good with many challenging holes. Fairways weren't perfect but they were very good, and the greens were in terrific shape.
Again, this is a no frills course. The clubhouse is very dated and in desperate need of some decor. Very cold and blah. That being said we didn't care as we were there for the golf which was very good.
Staff were all very friendly.

Boring layout
The course is over priced. Wide fairways that simple go back and forth . There are many more interesting courses to play than this one in Palm Springs.. The course is good for beginners.

Fun Course
Price has gone up about 50% since we played here a yeaar ago, but that seems to be a trend down here in the desert. Pace of play was excellent - a bit over 3.5 hours. This is a fairly easy course (at least from the middle tees) but it's fun. Coditions were generally very good, especially the greens.

Simmerin .. No On Course Restrooms
Enjoyed our round, but the fact that there are no real restrooms on the course, except for two porta-potties is a disgrace.

NICE COURSE
I ENJOYED THE COURSE. THEY SAY TO TAKE FREE RELIEF FROM THE WASH AREA THAT IS ON THE SIDE OF MANY OF THE HOLES. I PLAYED IT AS A NORMAL LATERAL HAZARD AND TOOK A PENALTY DROP. IF YOU PLAY THE WASH AS A WATER HAZARD THE COURSE BECOMES MUCH MUCH MORE DIFFICULT. THE GREENS WERE GOOD AND HAD BEEN SANDED AND VERTICUT PROBABLY 12 OR SO DAYS BEFORE I PLAYED THERE. STAFF AND OTHER GOLFERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY. I WOULD CERTAINLY PLAY IT AGAIN. TRAPS NEED ATTENTION AND WERE VERY HARD. MY GUESS IS THE WIND REALLY TAKES A TOLL ON THE SAND TRAPS.
Cimaaron Boulder never disappoints
Fairways always excellent. Greens rolled very nice. No trees and not a beauty but it offers 18 holes of good golf holes.

Course is very good value
The staff are fantastic. Especially after I left my range finder. I was able to come back the next day and retrieve it. One complaint is the traps hadn't been raked and felt like you were playing of rocks.
