Cimarron Golf Club - Boulder Course

Very impressed by the staff, very warm, friendly and helpful. That would be reason enough to return. Course offers scenic views of the mountains. The course itself was in overall very good condition. Tee boxes (except for 1 of them) were great, fairways in great condition and the greens good to very good. Issue on greens was that there were many unrepaired pitch marks. The greens still rolled true however. They also have a par 55 par short course which is also fantastic. Overall, I can't wait to return to the area to play both courses again!

Course was in amazing shape and super fun to play. The only downside was pacer play was a little slow.

We played this course a few years ago but the dropdown wouldn’t let me go that far back, but I’m glad I’ve been given a chance to voice my opinion & review now.

I’ll never golf this course ever again and will never recommend it to anyone!!

We were on the 16th hole, one of the people in our group teed off and didn’t have a good shot and decided to hit another one. After they re-hit my husband and I went and picked up the first shot to return it to the other player. I got out of the cart to pick up the ball and out of a shrub came a Pitt bull, I said “hi puppy dog” the dog turned and came at me, I jumped back into the cart and my husband hit the gas, the dog was able to grab one of my pouches on my golf bag, it exploded, the dog lost interest and turned back to the shrub and another Pitt bull came out of it. Both dogs had collars on them but were running loose on a golf course!! Then a rabbit ran by and off they went after the rabbit.

When we finished our round we told the staff in the pro-shop, they were unconcerned and said they knew the dogs were out there but couldn’t do anything about them and “next time we should call 911”

Terrible attitude and as I said before we’ll never golf that course again and I’ll tell anyone who wants to listed why!!!

I come to this area almost every year. And I always without fail hit this course once or twice when I am here. I do come when it is insanely hot and I am often the only one on the course. Of course the course is a little beat up in mid July due to heat, but they do a pretty good job of keeping the important parts green. One caution, sometimes you may experience a person experiencing homelessness along to west edge or by hole #5. The don't usually bother you too much just letting you know they may be there. Also they have a golf school and sometimes you can get lessons from Steve Cahill. Look them up.

Out of the 3 courses that I played this week, Cimarron was my favorite. I was a solo player, and I was paired up with 2 locals that helped me to navigate this course. The course was in very good condition, the greens were true and the views are awesome. The wind was blowing 35 to 45 mph, it was hard to keep the ball on the green.

The staff that welcomed me and helped me were all fantastic. The price was good, it was about $75 or $80 and well worth it.

I will definitely come back.

Played the Boulders course . Poor condition of greens presently . A few of the fairways are patchy in areas . We have played 6 other area courses the last two weeks and this by far has poorest conditions .

Restrooms practically non existent , 2 port-a-potties

There are better options in the area .

Thoroughly enjoyed the course. It was in great condition.

Overall a good play, greens smooth but a bit slow. Tees and fairways good. Food Service limited both on and off the golf course. Need to be able to get decent food at facility to bring onto course to eat. Cart food service was a flimsy sandwich that the inside meat fell out of.

Very well managed and maintained course for an enjoyable have of golf. I will play again when in town.

Just beautiful. My wife and so played here recently and you couldn’t have asked for better quality.
