Course in excellent shape.
Greens and fairways in excellent shape. Nice test of golf. Not extremely difficult for the better player, but fun and very enjoyable round.
Amazing course for the value.
Course was in excellent shape. Read the reviews before hand which all seemed to be bitter so I was worried. However the layout was as expected, normal with a few doglegs. The course was in amazing shape. Especially for mid winter, it is hard to find a course like this at a price like this. Very impressed.
Time of year
For this time of year after reseeding I think the course was in very nice playing conditions. Had played the course years ago and still very much enjoyed it
Will be back for sure over the next few months.
Very Playable First Time Out
The course is a comfortable length and the holes are never too challenging. Greens were a little "fuzzy" making putting an issue. All around, a good spot to play.
Busy but enjoyable
Frost delay delayed our tee time 30 minutes
A harried cart/starter could improve his social skills
Once off the first tee we enjoyed a pleasant round, fairways were good, greens very slow.
Played the round in 4 hours 15 minutes
The Resort vs The Legend course, there’s no contest
Weaving through a housing development with shared fairways and unpredictable greens, no water features or interesting holes, just very long narrow fairways. I preferred the Resort Course and would play that one again. In fairness to Tahquitz the legend course just reopened from over seeding. You could see most of the greens off in the distance but hard to get on in regulation even for the low handicappers in the group. The views of the mountains are fantastic.
What you see is what you get
If your expectations are low then you will be fine, the range balls are outdated , the backshop guys are about as classy as the golf balls ….its probably a better course for beginners , the locals that we played with apparently paid around 40$ and we paid the full GN absurde price of 110$ per player so that is ridiculously overpriced….The price for golf right now is ridiculous and will deserve a market adjustment at some point!
