Resort at Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort

Homeless encampment next to 2nd hole. No water on course. Pedestrians walking. Didn’t like leaving my cart with homeless people and pedestrians walking by it. Too easy to have something stolen. Won’t play here again.

We used to play this course all the time when visiting from Seattle. It was one of our favorites. The conditions were great, price was reasonable, amenities were really nice, water on the course always, beverage carts were out and about...it was always very festive. But now, no more. The city and the course have allowed homeless tents and vagrants everywhere. Unless the city and course get serious about removing this embarrassment to continue, the course will not continue to stay open as people don't feel safe and don't want to see this mess.

Good experience overall, greens is in summer condition, but still a good experience.

The legend just got punched. I played the Resort which was punched 3 weeks or so ago. Resort greens are not healed at all. The fairways are getting thin. I got a good deal in GN but it dont matter if your chip bounces 90 degrees left and right or stops. The course is in September condition. I like this course but not right now. Staff is friendly.

The fairways were good but the greens were atrocious. They looked like they were just punched but also look like they been in bad shape for awhile now. I ended up shooting my PB of 83 Which is crazy to think about how bad the greens were. Overall the course is ok but for 72 bucks that’s really steep.

this was one of the worst courses I have played at in years. Burned / damaged greens making putting nearly impossible. Homeless encampments spread thoughout the OB of the fairways. Course looks nothing like it’s photos, this was a huge letdown. This course should pay YOU to play there. Horrendous!! I would not recommend this course to my worst enemy. STAY AWAY

6 hour round. Staff was beyond rude. Possibly also on drugs. Homeless people live on this course: yes, hard to believe. But true. Worst conditions I’ve ever seen. Called ahead and asked if the greens were punched they said no. Showed up, greens were punched and completely unplayable. 0/10 absolutely horrible please stay away from the joke of a “course”.

Enjoyed the round this week. Liked the layout of the course. Course was recently aerated but was healing up pretty well. My play wasn’t stellar, but looking forward to next round here.

I have played Tahquitz a number of times in the past ... but not within the past 10 years. A lot has changed since then. It used to be that if you hit into the wash area you needed to be careful of snakes. Not anymore. It's the dozens upon dozens of homeless encampments that are scattered throughout the "Resort" course.

Very sad indicator of the state of society in California ...

Really looked forward to this round. However the course was in really bad shape, and the homeless feces on the tee box was the last straw for me! Not gonna lie, playing amongst all the homeless trash and tents was not the experience I was looking for. No drinking water on the course. It played like a muni in disrepair. Not really sure I would return.

They just punched the greens a few days ago. I would wait at least another two weeks before playing here again. Lots of homeless living along the first few holes. Rude maintenance personnel kept rolling the green on 16 and wouldn't let me play. I literally waited 5 minutes for him to finish. Then he held a conversation with his coworker while I was chipping then clanged around working on his equipment while I was putting. Other staff were great. I like that every hole is different. I'll probably play here again this summer but I'm going to make sure the greens haven't been punched before I book it.

This is a good place to play golf. I like this course.

Overall the greens, fairways, tees and bunkers were in bery good condition. The course is challenging off the tee because target areas appear to be tighter than they actually are from the tee. Great place to play.
