About
The second of two Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry designs at Desert Willow resort in Cathedral City, Mountain View is a little shorter (6,913 yards) and boasts wider fairways than the Firecliff Course.
There are also half as many bunkers as at Firecliff. Which still means there are 98 here.
Still, water comes into play more on Mountain View. The course name is no misnomer either. Golfers actually do get great views of the Santa Rosa Mountains as they take on Hurdzan's desert landscaping. This is resort golf with real nature touches.

Travelling foursomes enjoyable day out
Played appropriate tee boxes for our round. Found it to be challenging but fair. Would definitely do it again
great course ... SLOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW round
Great course and great company as I was a single that got paired w/ two other singles. Great guys and good golfers. And good thing too b/c we spent more than 5 hours together. Why do ppl constantly play from the wrong tees? I don't understand the value of 200+ yard approach shots on short par 4s. Just play from the correct tees ... we won't think less of you. Quite the opposite in fact.
This course is Beautiful and Challenging
Superb condition, beautiful layout, water placement on course makes course management a must.
Now my favorite course to play in the Coachella Valley. Highly recommended.

Course was in great shape for this time of year with the extreme heat . All the employees were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure my experience was great . Will be back to play the course again real soon

This course is amazing! Definitely will be returning sooner than later! There was a lot of water stations which is greatly appreciated can’t wait to play again!
Top Notch Course
Excellent course for all levels of play. Five tee locations make it possible to set any level of difficulty desired.
Desert Oasis
There is a reason this course has one of the highest ratings in the area. Top notch course, even with the summer heat I was pleasantly surprised at how green and well kept it is. Staff is top notch and friendly, definitely looking forward to another round on either of their two courses.
Desert Wilows Mountain Course
Good course, plenty of room on the fairways and lots of tee box options for all skill levels. Staff was friendly and efficient. Would recommend
