Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club sits amongst the nature preserves that reside along Choctawhatchee Bay, enjoying scenic views and a beautiful landscape. Robert C. Walker, Arnold Palmer's former lead architect, designed the course. Water comes into play throughout in the form of sparkling blue lakes and meandering streams. The most memorable use of water comes is on the challenging 16th hole. This tricky par 4 has water to the left as well as a marsh area crossing the fairway. Being so close to the water, the golf course is often subject to strong prevailing winds. Despite its many challenges, Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club is a fair challenge that players of all skill levels can enjoy, which is perhaps why it has been called one of North America's top courses by Golf Digest.

ENJOYABLE GOLF ROUND

Enjoyed our golf round at Regatta Bay, 2nd time return for Us visiting Miramar Bch, FL. It was cart path for 9 of the 18 holes we played that day due to all the rain over the weekend. Also, aeration for most of the holes, otherwise decent fairways and fast greens made it a challenging round of golf play. It would be nice to have ball washers in the golf cart or on any of the holes to play considering the high end green fees. Also, overpriced items sold in the pro shop. Otherwise, free range balls with green fees and friendly staff.

Very enjoyable round

Staff was very friendly, excellent practice area. Marshall recommended playing up one set of tees due to wind, excellent recommendation as it did play long. Course was in excellent shape. Easy to get on course service. Really enjoyed the round.

Fun course. Definitely a must come back here course.

There was water as many courses around here have, but it was reasonable. Some risk and reward holes. I like that my teeing area was comparable for my handicap so I played well enough. The course was beautiful. The greens were undulating so no gimmies. Of all the courses I played around here so far, this was my favorite. Great practice facility.

Great track to play near Destin

I’ve played Regatta many times over the years and this was probably the best I’ve seen there greens in a long time. Rolled quicker and truer where on the past they would be spongier and slower which I hate slow greens.

Fairways and bunkers all in great shape.

Cart girl came around plenty and our pace of play was right at 4 hours at 3 pm. Only slight negative was they put us in an earlier tee time so we had no warmup but was fine. Enjoyed and will be back!

Course was as good as it gets!!!! Grass everywhere, and greens are the best I have seen in a long time. Great job! I have skipped this course in the past 2 years due to greens being sub-par….. well worth the price!
